    Mushfiqur c Nabi b Dawlat 83 (Ban 251-6)

There'll be no hundred for Mushfiqur Rahim. He tries to play another big shot but skews it to extra cover. He gets a pat on the helmet from Mosaddek for an excellent innings of 83 from 87 balls.

Mushy gets a huge ovation from this crowd which is heavily in favour of Bangladesh.

  2. Ban 250-5published at 48.1 overs

I'm going to be short with my prediction. Mosaddek is playing a good hand at the end. He punishes a full toss, hitting the ball to the extra cover boundary.

  3. Ban 246-5published at 48 overs

    Mushfiqur 83, Mosaddek 21

Rashid Khan's figures today. 10 overs, 0-52. Not his best return but he has been unlucky. Bangladesh have played him relatively well.

    Two overs to go.

A superb shot! How well did he play that?!

  6. Ban 245-5published at 47.3 overs

Top shot from Mosaddek this time. He lofts Rashid over extra cover for a second boundary of the over. Rashid is having another difficult day.

Afghanistan will need to be a bit more proactive in this chase than they were against India.

But Bangladesh also don't have a Kuldeep or a Chahal who can turn the ball both ways.

  8. Ban 240-5published at 47.1 overs

Come on, Mushy. You deserve a hundred. The little right-hander plays a delightful reverse sweep over the short third man. Bowler Rashid Khan is not impressed with the fielding.

    Four runs.

Good bowling from Dawlat after an indifferent start to that over.

  10. Ban 236-5published at 47 overs

    Mushfiqur 78, Mosaddek 16

Mushfiqur is hit on the thigh at the end of the over. He's not a big man so that doesn't rule out an lbw appeal but Hartlepool's finest Michael Gough shakes his head.

Fun fact - I bought my first bat of Michael Gough's dad.

  11. Ban 235-5published at 46.5 overs

Slower balls are the way to go. This one from Dawlat just misses Mushfiqur's off stump.

Bangladesh will be disappointed with anything under 265.

  13. Ban 235-5published at 46.4 overs

More runs. Dawlat changes his attack and bowls full but it's still much easier to hit than the spinners. This would have been four but for some good fielding on the boundary.

  14. How's stat?!published at 14:02 British Summer Time 24 June 2019

Despite hitting 75 runs so far - Mushfiqur's only registered four boundaries in this knock.

That was predictable from Dawlat. He used to bowl a lot of yorkers but now just slams it in. It's help yourself stuff.

  16. Ban 231-5published at 46.1 overs

The pace bowers are back and this is where Bangladesh will want to capitalise. Dawlat Zadran slams the ball in short and just shouts 'hit me' to the batsman.

Mosaddek does just that, clubbing him over the leg side for four.

I sense a bit of frustration from Rashid Khan that he's not picked up a wicket. His usual smile has been replaced by a scowl.

  18. Ban 227-5published at 46 overs

    Mushfiqur 77, Mosaddek 9

Innovation from Mushfiqur. He will still be eyeing a century. He ramps Rashid Khan over his shoulder, playing a shot that doesn't resemble anything from an old school textbook. Two more added.

    Four overs to go.

Gulbadin was a fraction slow to react.

  20. Ban 224-5published at 45.2 overs

Rashid Khan has been a little unlucky today. He's had a couple of close lbw shouts go against him and now a leading edge lands just in front of the diving extra cover fielder.
