Mitchell Santner will continue for New Zealand.

He's got two slips. This is brilliant.

    Thanks, Amy.

    Pakistan are favourites here, right?

This is all in Pakistan's hands now, you suspect...

Callum Matthews will take you through the rest of the chase.

Edge - but there's no slip and it's gone for four!

13 from the over! Time for a change, I think.

    What a noise!

    That'll be Pakistan's 100 up...

That was a free hit! Neesham hasn't got the pace to dig one in on this pitch and Babar stood tall and rolled the wrists on it. Smashed it.

Clever from Babar Azam, knocking a couple of runs down through third man, and Colin de Grandhomme throws himself in front of the ball to stop him picking up a boundary.

Jimmy Neesham spears a wide down the leg side, and then a poor short ball is absolutely thundered to the boundary by Babar! Glorious shot.

Love how tense this and other matches with low scoring rates have been. It's given me an idea for a new format, both teams bat twice with no limits on overs and the match is played over five days.

    Pak 91-2

Oh, a thin nick - but it's a difficult chance!

Babar Azam goes deep into his crease and tries to cut, but an edge ends up clattering into Tom Latham's chest, rather than his hands, and it would have been a beautiful take.

What I would encourage Santner to do is to go slightly wider on the crease. He's beating the bat but is always going to miss the stumps at the moment.

That makes the batsman have to play as well. He's bowling beautifully.

Mitch Santner continues, slip in place, and sub fielder Southee changes down a Babar tickle that just evades Ross Taylor.

Oh! Another beauty from Santner and he beats Babar's outside edge.

Sankaranj: Pakistan to win by six wickets with 10 overs to spare. Easy!

  15. Pak 89-2published at 21 overs

    Target 238

Tidy enough from Jimmy Neesham, and he induces a loose sort of pull shot out of Babar Azam that drops just short of Ross Taylor at mid-wicket.

    Hmm.

My eyes are lighting up at this turn from Mitch Santner. New Zealand missed a trick by not playing the second spinner in Ish Sodhi.

You could argue that it wasn't the spinners of Pakistan who did the damage, though.

What a game! Action packed and old fashioned cat and mouse stuff. Babar is the key for Pakistan...he has to play a sensible innings. Come on boys.

  18. Pak 86-2published at 20 overs

Two good balls from Santner and Mohammad Hafeez narrowly avoids chopping one onto his stumps, before he misses the next ball that seems to turn and bounce a little.

  19. Pak 86-2published at 19.1 overs

    Oh!

Mohammad Hafeez decides he wants two runs here and he's mid-pitch as Lockie Ferguson fields... it's a poor throw, though, Tom Latham having to come forward and tumble to take it, and Hafeez survives.
