It's a dangerous game, going back to those balls...

  3. Pak 116-3published at 28 overs

Bruce Oxenford is in the firing line here.

Mitchell Santner is causing chaos. New Zealand have an appeal for lbw against Haris Sohail but the ball was going down.

Next ball, Sohail comes down the track and misses. Luckily for him the ball spins past Tom Latham and is taken at slip by Ross Taylor, who briefly appeals but it flicked off the pad on the way through.

Just a single off the last ball.

I just don't understand the logic of that shot from Hafeez.

Tidy from Kane Williamson again with just three singles coming off the first three balls of the over.

Babar Azam brings up his half-century off 65 balls.

It's not been chanceless but a good knock so far.

Adil Chaudhrey: Why on earth Pakistan persist with Hafeez who time and again gives his wicket away through the most poor shot selection. We can win with singles. Stupidness personified frankly.

  10. Pak 112-3published at 26 overs

    Target 238

Mitchell Santner is causing all sorts of problems.

Babar Azam top edges a sweep that loops just short of deep square leg before Haris Sohail is late on a defensive shot and gets a thick inside edge onto pad.

Just a couple of singles from the over. The required run-rate is 5.25.

Haris Sohail, who played beautifully against South Africa on Sunday, is the new batsman.

He drives his first ball to the man at mid-on.

Kane Williamson has only bowled eight overs in New Zealand's last 23 ODIs - and not at all in their last 13.

Just the wicket that New Zealand needed! This allows them to turn the screw again.

    Hafeez c Ferguson b Williamson 32 (Pak 110-3)

    The captain has struck!

Mohammad Hafeez was determined to not let Kane Williamson settle. He'd missed a reverse sweep off the previous ball and comes down the pitch but clips the Kiwi skipper straight to Lockie Ferguson about 10 yards in on the mid-wicket boundary.

    Massive for New Zealand.

Good stuff again from Santner, conceding just a single off his fourth.

He's got figures of 0-8 now. Are Pakistan just going to milk him and target the rest?

Santner is really posing problems. They should have played the leg-spinner as well, they have missed a trick there. Kane Williamson to have a bowl?
