Tim Southee was injured at the start of the tour but he's fit now - he must play against Australia, surely?

Matt Henry bowls faster than Southee but he looks like he's tiring now. It's a lot of strain on the body.

Matt Henry's lucky to be playing from what I saw of the game with the Windies at the weekend - shocking in the field and pretty poor with the ball, looks like he's picked up where he left off. What about Southee?

    Target 238

Smiles all round as Imam-ul-Haq gets into a tangle trying to play a short ball, and he ends up bottom edging it into his pad. He carefully brings it out of his pad and throws it on the floor, while Boult jokingly makes an appeal for handling the ball.

    Good over from Boult.

After taking that wicket New Zealand should have gone on the attack and put a second and/or third slip in.

  5. Pak 24-1published at 4.2 overs

An edge from Imam-ul-Haq, but there's no-one there at third slip to grab it!

He might argue he meant that. He didn't. It was loose, playing away from his body, and that would have gone straight to the fielder. As it happens, it's run away to third man for four.

That's the third time that Trent Boult has taken Fakhar Zaman's ODI wicket. Only Chris Woakes has dismissed him as often.

  7. Pak 20-1published at 4 overs

    Target 238

Better from Matt Henry - and noticeably fuller.

Just a single from the over.

Mark Puttick: The noise of the Pakistan fans is great in my work headphones...I feel like my office has been transferred to the Hollies stand.

  9. Pak 20-1published at 3.4 overs

    Close!

Imam-ul-Haq clips towards mid-wicket and goes scampering off for a single, and in one move, Kane Williamson dives, picks up the ball and shies at the stumps. It just misses, but Imam might have been struggling...

Babar Azam, who could cause some real damage here, is in at three.

Fakhar doesn't want to go. I don't think he can quite believe that's just happened.

Martin Guptill made that look like the easiest catch in the world. He gave the crowd a little nonchalant nod afterwards.

    Fakhar c Guptill b Boult 9 (Pak 19-1)

    Out of nowhere!

Fakhar Zaman can't believe it. Four dot balls in a row and he's tried to flick the last one uppishly off his pads. Instead, he's got a leading edge that has spiralled up into the air and Martin Guptill times his move brilliantly. He runs around at point, settles himself and gets safely underneath the ball to send the Pakistan opener on his way.

  14. Pak 19-0published at 2.3 overs

Lots of arm waving and pointing going on as Trent Boult shuffles his field, and Fakhar Zaman clips a leggy delivery just short of a diving mid-wicket.

That's better from Boult! Fakhar presses forward and the ball nips between the tasty gap between bat and pad.

This is just what New Zealand didn't want. You've got to be controlled and disciplined.

And now Trent Boult gets carved for four!

A bit of width from Boult and Fakhar Zaman frees his arms, crashing it through point for a boundary.

  20. Pak 15-0published at 2 overs

    Target 238

    Shot!

A bit of a 'mare from Matt Henry first up. It's too floaty and Imam-ul-Haq finds it way too easy to push it back down the ground for four. Eleven from the over...
