Crypto Noob‏: @Aron 14:59, the rule is that the bail has to break completely off from the stumps. Simply moving is not enough to be called out.

De Grandhomme run out 63 (NZ 215-6)

A cannon arm from the deep from Mohammad Amir! Colin de Grandhomme has had an incredible number of lives during his knock but he can't survive this one, a fine throw from way out runs the big man out.

  9. NZ 214-5published at 47.3 overs

    Run rate 4.50

New Zealand are batting themselves into a winning position. A winnable position, anyway. Jimmy Neesham bisects two fielders with a neat pull for four. The Pakistan crowd are being kept down to a hubbub instead of a din.

There was savagery and brutality in that stroke.

  14. NZ 209-5published at 47 overs

    De Grandhomme 63, Neesham 78

I'm convincing myself, if nobody else, that this is now a very competitive score on this track. Well recovered, New Zealand.

Colin then gets in on the act, flat batting a punch downfield for four more. Sounded very reassuring that one. NZ beyond 200 now.

And another boundary! Timed, that one, flicked off his pads. Eighteen from the over!

Shot! Jimmy Neesham gets a full, fast ball from Mohammad Amir and just swings across the line and clobbers him over midwicket for a flat six!

Please please please. I am having a spat with my mate and we need some help. Can you please explain how the red lights work on the stumps. On the run-out clip it seemed that they flashed a bit late after the stumps had already moved? My friend thinks I am seeing things? Anyone? Please?

Wahab with a cracking yorker which De Grandhomme does well to clip away for two, well played both. Sarfaraz isn't happy with the throw from the deep. Every run counts.
