Wahab is searching hard, he's maneuvering the field about, he's stomping around, moaning at the fielders.

There's nothing more fun than an angry fast bowler sometimes!

  4. Afg 180-6published at 39 overs

Wahab is starting to get angry. He's screaming at his fielders.

He only concedes three singles but he's still got the double teapot out at the end of the over.

Wahab Riaz will continue for Pakistan.

Here's how he dismissed Mohammad Nabi in his last over.

  6. Afg 178-6published at 38 overs

Nine from the over in the end.

Imad Wasim is done for the day, he finishes with figures of 2-48. Here are his wickets:

  7. Afg 177-6published at 37.3 overs

    Four more!

Slightly uppish this time as Najibullah drives through the covers.

  8. Afg 173-6published at 37.1 overs

Najibullah Zadran brings out the reverse sweep once more, and again it's four.

It's become a profitable shot for the left-hander.

I've got some good news for England fans...

  11. Afg 169-6published at 37 overs

He gets off the mark first ball with an edge down to third man before Najibullah flicks down to fine leg to keep the strike.

Samiullah Shinwari - who was left stranded on 49 not out against Bangladesh on Monday - is the new batsman.

Poor awareness there from Afghanistan. They knew Wahab was looking to bowl short. It was a well-taken catch in the end though. There's a danger for Afghanistan that if Rashid Khan doesn't come off, this innings could end quickly now.

  14. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 36.4 overs

    Nabi c Amir b Wahab 16 (Afg 167-6)

    Good catch!

It's fired in from Wahab Riaz and Mohammad Nabi pulls but it's off the top edge and Mohammad Amir takes a good catch, as the ball was dying on him, down at fine leg.

Guy Fraser-Brown: 100 overs could be a perfect amount of time for batsmen to show their finesse at the crease and put up individual scores of 200+ regularly. Much better than 40 overs.

  16. Afg 164-5published at 36 overs

I'm as perplexed as Dan Norcross and Ebony Rainford-Brent about why Najibullah Zadran bats so low down in this Afghanistan side.

He picks up his second boundary with a reverse sweep. He's up to 19.

I don't really mind how long it lasts, Steven.

I just want a competitive match and an equal contest between bat and ball wherever possible.

Steven Galloway: Quite fitting that cricket's been around for hundreds of years and the one thing nobody can seem to agree on is how long it should last...

  20. Afg 159-5published at 35 overs

Wahab recovers well with just a single coming from the final four balls of the over.
