Really hoping Afghanistan win today. I went there for work a few years back and it's a country divided by so much but united by cricket. That's the power of this sport.

    Run rate 5.57

Shaheen Afridi is going for runs today but he's taken two wickets. Better that than a team full of tidy, economical but safe bowlers?

That was timed, he eased into that stroke.

  4. Afg 36-2published at 6.3 overs

Superb stroke! Rahmat just punches a straight drive off his toes right back for four. Hit it so clean you hardly heard it.

Even where we're sat I thought it was an edge - you could tell by the way the ball came back in. It would have been some serious seam movement for that to happen.

  6. Afg 32-2published at 6 overs

I didn't, we were discussing the loudest sporting events we've been at.

That might be the most bat Ikram Ali Khil gets on a shot all day. Really poor call.

Massive inside edge! No wonder Ikram reviewed that so quickly. Fair play.

    That's a shocker of a decision.

Ikram is lbw - looked 100% out - but he reviews it!

  11. Rahmat hooks through square leg for fourpublished at 10:57 British Summer Time 29 June 2019

Rahmat is still out there and looks in good touch.

  12. Afg 32-2published at 5.3 overs

    Rahmat 13, Ikram 0

Well watched Ikram, as he lets a rapid ball from Amir slide by.

Jack Tanner: From an England point of view I want Pakistan to win this one and for England to be pushed to earn their semi-final spot. If we just scrape through we'll limp out against whoever comes first.

Fast, overpitched and it flicks away for four leg byes!

An expensive over, 14 from it, but two wickets as well.
