Afghanistan are allowing these two to build a partnership. Shinwari has bowled some ghastly balls.

Anyone who followed the New Zealand v Pakistan game on Wednesday will know that I'm a big fan of Haris Sohail.

This shot basically sums up wide. He gives himself a little bit of room and carves a glorious shot through the covers and away to the boundary.

  3. Pak 109-3published at 26 overs

    Hafeez 17, Haris 9

And Pakistan help themselves to five singles.

This pair have put on 27 now.

Gulbadin Naib is going to replace Mohammad Nabi for Afghanistan.

Nabi has figures of 2-14 after his first spell of seven overs. You can watch his wickets below:

Halfway point. Pakistan need 125 runs off 150 balls.

Should be routine enough you would have thought...

Here's Callum Matthews to take you through it, as Hafeez clobbers away a huge one-bounce four!

Generally, if you're hanging about behind the stands, you can gauge what's going on from the noise in the stands. Blaring horns mean a four; a roar that starts, fades, then gets louder means a six. But the silence can only mean one thing - Pakistan are in trouble. It's the Afghanistan fans, outnumbered but not out-voiced, who are making themselves known.

An absolute gem from Mohammad Nabi. Drifts in, turns away from the left-hander Haris. So unlucky not to get the edge.

If Afghanistan can take another two wickets, it's a 50/50, Pakistan can't play it out in pressure

Decent over from the Afghanistan all-rounder. Just three from it.

A throw from the deep by Rashid hits captain Gulbadin on his back! Class. He's OK.

  11. Pak 92-3published at 22.3 overs

    Haris 3, Hafeez 7

Shinwari has 45 ODI wickets so he knows what he's doing. Gets some turn as well.

Hafeez has a habit of getting out to part-time bowlers so Afghanistan are bringing on Rahmat Shah.

Ah, no. That's odd. He was coming on but then at the last minute they change their mind and Samiullah Shinwari is handed the ball instead.

Another over flies by, just one from it.

Has this wicket given Afghanistan [and England] a chance?

Three off the over, Pakistan are settling down again.

Thirty overs left, 141 needed at just under five an over.

Afghanistan need a few more quick wickets to ramp up the pressure.

Ikram Ali Khil has his second stumping of the tournament; a joint-tournament-high.

Afghanistan appeal! For a catch, lbw, whatever they can get.

There's no decision and again, they wasted a review early on. It's pad first.

Looked a good shout! Haris keeps his head down.
