Ant and Dec were only a pop duo back in 2001, weren't they? The world has changed since Mortaza's debut.

He won't miss seeing batsmen charging down at him as Imam does here, clobbering the white ball away for four.

  4. Pak 209-2published at 37 overs

Another quiet over of quiet, canny left-arm off-spin from Shakib. Mashrafe Mortaza continues to hobble around in the field. The word is that is will retire after this World Cup.

It's all about the mental attitude how long players stay on in the game and with the kind of fitness regime, eating habits they have nowadays players are playing longer.

  10. Pak 202-2published at 35.3 overs

I've loved watching Bangladesh in this World Cup. They've been really entertaining with Shakib at the forefront of that. The all-rounder is only 32 so could be playing in four years' time at the next World Cup.

Back to this game, Mohammad Hafeez brings the Pakistan 200 up with a lovely shot over extra cover that bounces a couple of times before the reaching boundary.

Shakib is already in terms of World Cup all-time records 15th in wickets taken and 13th in the batting list.

It'd be quite some drive after work for me to get down to Somerset but Ali is doing a good advertising job for his club. He's right. Babar will be a very good addition for Somerset this year.

This is probably the best World Cups we have had for Bangladesh. In 2007 we managed to beat India but this stands right at the top as far as I am concerned. The batting has been really good, the disappointing part has been the bowling, especially the seamers.

  15. Pak 197-2published at 35 overs

    Imam 78, Hafeez 2

Pakistan have probably now accepted that they're not going to score the 450 runs that they'd likely need to have a chance of earning a big enough win to progressing to the semi-finals.

It's now about beating their big rivals Bangladesh and ending the World Cup on a high. Shakib returns and the batsmen show him plenty of respect, prodding and poking him for singles to take us to drinks.

A good way to get affiliation for The Hundred would be to get the kids to decide the names of the teams.

A lot of these Indian, Pakistan, Bangladesh fans come to see their teams play but we don't see them for other matches. The ECB hope that they will come and watch The Hundred.

I'm a big fan of this red Bangladesh kit today. They're playing in their away shirt because of the green clash with Pakistan.

Favourite kit of the World Cup? Sri Lanka for me.

    Ah, Babar.

We'll miss you in this World Cup...

  20. Pak 193-2published at 33.2 overs

Told you! A big slash from Imam skims away to the boundary. Imam has quietly got himself to 75 from 69 balls here. The opener hasn't had much of the strike but is batting well.
