Win the toss and bat?
We will find out soon enough.

I'm quite calm, strangely. I don't know whether the players will be, they may not be immune to the nerves that come with a game like this. Six of the New Zealand players were in the final last time, so that may help.

I would bat first. Get some runs on the board. In all four of the matches played here in the tournament the team batting first has won quite comfortably.
You will have to bat very well in the first 10 overs but it will be better to bat first as it will get tougher later on.

"Don't be alarmed by the smoke coming from the Nursery Ground" is the announcement. I think the Red Arrows are here.....

I do not have words for how utterly, incredibly, ridiculously busy it is on the walk to Lord’s. It is jam packed. There’s two men with megaphones directing human traffic at the Tube - “don’t use the stairs!” - while there’s people having to queue to get into the station. I’ve never experienced anything like it. I feel nervous...

If you bat first you will have to play very well to get through the first 10 overs because the ball will move. But if you get through it and build a good score, this World Cup shows you should be favourites to win.
It's certainly gloomy overhead at Lord's.

Am in the middle of nowhere in deepest darkest Transylvania! And cricket not being the biggest sport in Romania, I am having a little trouble finding a telly that shows it! Asked the wife (who's Romanian) if there's any sports bars around! She scoffed at me and walked off! Guess that's a no then! BBC live text it is! C'mon England!

Last time we were in a WC final I climbed on the roof of my Student Union building to fix the Sky dish. Today I'm watching it with my teenage son. Way too long, come on England - bring it home.

There is that possibility the ball could move around here and a couple of batsmen nick off early, for both sides.

Selina J: Would like to thank the ICC for delaying the start of the game... I couldn’t find where I left my keys before I headed out.

No one is backing New Zealand. But just look what happened in the Wimbledon women's singles final yesterday, no one saw Simona Halep winning that.
There is some grass on the wicket, which could bring New Zealand's pace bowlers into the game.

Adam Oldroyd: The reason I think England will win the World Cup is... we have more players than NZ who could be MOM.

This is a massive day because anyone can stumble across cricket today. Huge credit to Sky for letting the final be on Channel 4.

You just feel this is such an important day for English cricket. For New Zealand too, of course. But you feel this is crucial, perhaps for the future of cricket in this country.
There will be so many people watching the sport on free to air TV for the first time.
The toss will take place at 10:15 BST.
Until 10:45 BST...
Almost time for the toss. Biggest one of Eoin Morgan's career.
And it's all down to chance...
That's the atmosphere sorted then!
The members will be chanting their heads off by 11am.
These lads have already been chucked out of a pub on Baker Street for being too rowdy.
