What a stroke that is. It's as good a shot as we've seen all series.
Now it's the reverse sweep from Tammy Beaumont for her second successive four. A great boundary for the Kent right-hander, who has one of the best middle names in world cricket - Tilley.

Natasha McLean, who's fielding in front of us, is a great character for the game. I'm surprised she hasn't played in the other two games actually.
Captain Stafanie Taylor is blowing on her hands between deliveries - Chelmsford being a bit parkier than Jamaica - but there's nothing the Windies skipper can do as Beaumont takes the aerial route, blasting Fletcher over her head. It thuds into the rope, but did it bounce first? Four or six? Four.

It has been a really frustrating series for everyone. After the first game we've just had interruption after interruption. I keep forgetting how long the games are.
Jones 21, Beaumont 37
So far, so good for Heather Knight's troops.

I'm absolutely certain she should have at least got her hand to it. I'm not convinced by that bit of fielding.

Was that an opportunity that should have been taken?
Jones, celebrating her 26th birthday today, is going along nicely - while Beaumont takes the initiative, crashing a four past a less-than-convincing Britney Cooper at mid-wicket.

The Pipster: Why don't England women ever play up north?
That's a question for the ECB...
Fletcher tries a bit of flight, Beaumont responds with a paddle-sweep to fine leg. The hardy Chelmsford crowd are cheering every run here, after sitting through more than two hours of rain.
By the sounds of the Men's World Cup game at Trent Bridge today, a paddle might have been useful there...

I would have said a reduced game would favour West Indies but it didn't the other day so I don't know if this will suit them.
It's going to be interesting to see how England go about this.
Leg-spinner Afy Fletcher on at the River End - she picked up three wickets at Worcester in the last ODI. Beaumont has used her feet well today, drilling a single to Natasha McLean (who's not had much chance to show off her dance moves today) at long-on and nudging a two to the rather long boundary at mid-wicket to bring England to 50.

It's quite a fast outfield still despite all that rain. But Duckworth-Lewis might help the score a bit.
Jones 18, Beaumont 28
Tammy Beaumont drives, gets a fortunate inside edge which bounces off keeper Kycia Knight and goes to short fine leg for a single. Her opening partner Amy Jones flicks a two through the leg side.
Stacy-Ann King, bowling left-arm medium pace round the wicket, resumes her first over.

It's a miserable scene as the clouds are still high and we're peering through gloom, but the windows are free of water. Did a window-cleaner come past without telling us?

It's nearly two-and-a-half-hours since the players went off.
The interval has been contracted - it'll be 20 minutes between innings.
We're just over five minutes away from a resumption. Some of West Indies' bowlers are now bowling on a used wicket on the edge of the square.
With the match reduced to 39 overs per side, four bowlers will be able to bowl up to eight overs, with the fifth bowling up to seven.
So far, Shamilia Connell and Hayley Matthews have bowled five overs each. Stacy-Ann King has sent down just two deliveries, and will resume her over at 17:00 BST.
