Henry's right - Chelmsford has the "full monty" of covers in place now. The usual wheelie covers on the pitch, and the bowlers' run-ups, and enormous sheet covering the entire rest of the square.
WI 131-9 all out (DLS target was 267 from 39 overs)
Eng 258-4; Jones 80, Taylor 70, Knight 40 (19 balls)
Rain had stopped play with England 43-0 (10.2 overs) - WI won toss

In 45 minutes from now we start losing overs, so at 15:30 BST.
According to the radar it's never going to get that heavy and by 17:00 it should be drifting away and by 18:00 it should have completely gone.
They're dragging another sheet across which suggests they think we're in it for the long haul.
By the way, you're not really missing much in any other cricket around the country. India and New Zealand haven't got on the field all day in the Men's World Cup at Trent Bridge, with another inspection due at 15:00 BST.
There's also rain around in the County Championship, although they're playing in some of the games.

I have no problem with the fact that West Indies choose to bowl first - until they bat. I want them to be pro-active and get out caught rather than leg before playing around their pad. This series hasn't been competitive at all for me.
The pitch, square and bowler's run-ups are now completely covered.
It's "pouring down" according to West Indies' Twitter feed.
Another highlight for you - just after surviving an lbw appeal, Amy Jones hit a six:

hypocaust: England were respectively 66/2 and 45/0 after 10 overs during the 1st and 2nd ODIs of this series.

10:45? That's past my bedtime!
When I was driving up from Hampshire today, it was raining all the way up the M3 and round the M25, it didn't stop until I hit the A12. I rang my mum in Cambridgeshire who said we wouldn't get a game on today.

It looks bleak now. It is a grim, grim scene. This game can go on until 10.45pm...
Not many high points for West Indies so far - and here's how Hayley Matthews shelled a hard chance at gully.

It's starting to get heavy now. People are starting to move out of the stands.

I can see the rain coming down in large quantities now. Natalie Germanos' app thinks we've got light rain for the next hour or so.
Eng 43-0
West Indies make their firs bowling change as they turn to the left-arm medium pace of Stacy-Ann King, who's bowling round the wicket.
And after two balls of the over... the rain gets too much and they're going off.

You get the impression that West Indies' fielders want it to start raining.
I don't think you'd start in this rain.
Jones 15, Beaumont 27
A few more fielding mishaps for West Indies, who may not be thrilled with their captain's decision to field first in these conditions.
Here's the first highlight for you to watch - Tammy Beaumont's first four.

Amy Jones' bat hit her, I think, as she tried to make her ground.

It was a beautiful shot from Tammy Beaumont. I think Hayley Matthews has hurt herself trying to stop that, she's being helped to her feet.
Looks like there are plenty of schoolchildren in the crowd today - and they have something to cheer as Tammy Beaumont blasts Matthews back past non-striker Amy Jones for four, and Matthews comes a cropper as she collides with a mixture of Jones and the ground while trying in vain to stop the boundary.

I don't think this West Indies approach of a 7-2 field is the right approach to the England batters. It's not attacking enough.
I know they had to change things after the first game but I'm not sure about this. I probably wouldn't have played a spinner today.
