    Here's some cautious optimism. It doesn't look *that* wet - and while the pitch is covered, as are a couple of the other pitches, the bowlers' run-ups and the rest of the square are still open to the elements - which they wouldn't be if it was chucking it down.

    Here's some mild pessimism: the umpires are still concerned about one or two damp patches, and won't start (or toss up) in the current conditions.
