  1. WI 109-5published at 15 overs

    Target 181

England's bowlers are going in one-over spells here - Sophie Ecclestone's back. The left-handed Kycia Knight, who arrived in all that chaos when Nation was run out, lofts the young spinner over her head for four. Even a reverse sweep can only bring her a single - West Indies need 72 from 30 balls.

Meanwhile, in the Windies dugout, captain Stafanie Taylor is getting a massage - from what looks like a yellow rolling pin - delivered by team-mate Karishma Ramharack, who's not batted yet.

  2. WI 102-5published at 14 overs

    Target 181

Natasha McLean is not the most subtle of batters - with the required rate well above 12, she has to go big or go home - but she's completely duped by three successive slower ball variations from Natalie Sciver. And she's nearly caught again, hoisting one over square leg but safely.

The tourists need 79 from 36 balls.

  3. WI 100-5published at 13.3 overs

it's been a day of sixes and calamitous run-outs... it's nearly another six from Natasha McLean who blasts Sciver very, very high over mid-wicket, but it lands just inside the rope and between two fielders. Hundred up.

The one thing you can't fault West Indies for is intent. They are trying to up the game but England's fielding is on fire. The throw wasn't perfect but it was a good pick-up from Smith.

  5. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 13 overs

Nation run out (sub FC Wilson/Smith) 32 (WI 97-5)

Barely a check to the video ump needed - Chedean Nation is a foot short of her ground, and bangs the ground in frustration.

It was an excellent throw from sub fielder Fran Wilson, but Linsey Smith did well to take the bails off too.

  6. Third umpirepublished at 21:37 British Summer Time 21 June 2019

The powerful Natasha McLean replaces Stacy-Ann King - but once again there's a mix-up, and have they run Nation out at the bowler's end?

King set the tone for the West Indies today and I think in the next game they will look back on that innings and say that is what they want to replicate.

  8. WATCH: Taylor run out on 19published at 21:36 British Summer Time 21 June 2019

It's all happening at Northampton. Here's how Stafanie Taylor was run out by her namesake Sarah a little earlier.

  9. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 12.2 overs

    King c Wyatt b Smith 43 (WI 96-4)

King smashes Smith high into the Northampton night sky... but it's not got enough legs on it, and the safe hands of Danni Wyatt are under it at cow corner.

  10. WI 96-3published at 12.1 overs

Crazy scenes! Linsey Smith to King, appeal for lbw, Nation sets off for a run, is sent back and the throw beats the stumps - after all that, it's a dot ball.

Sarah Taylor is like a freak of nature with how good she is behind the stumps.

  12. WI 96-3published at 12 overs

    Target 181

Nation tries to pull a short ball, but misses and it's brilliantly taken by Sarah Taylor, standing up to the stumps and taking a fast ball straight in front of her face.

A better second half to the over, from England's perspective - the Windies need 85 from 48 balls.

I think Katherine Brunt got away with that one.

  14. WI 96-3published at 11.3 overs

It's not an easy task for Anya Shrubsole, leading England in the field as Heather Knight is off with a hamstring problem. Shrubsole turns back to fellow pacer Katherine Brunt, the lionhearted Barnsley right-armer.

Nation has a big swing... and misses. But Brunt then serves up a fairly high full toss, Nation hooks it for four and that must have been quite close to being called a no-ball for height...

This has been fun. It has been tough during the ODI series at times. As a spectator you wanted more but this has livened things up.

  16. WI 91-3published at 11 overs

    King 42 (31 balls), Nation 27 (12)

Ecclestone bounces back, nearly enticing Nation to chop onto her stumps.

It ends with two dots, but there were nine runs from that over. England were 79-2 at this stage.

Helllllo, Nation! This is a lot of fun to watch. She is giving England as good as she's got.

  18. 6 runs

    WI 89-3published at 10.2 overs

Chedean Nation joins in the fun, hoisting Ecclestone over mid-wicket for six!

  19. dropped catch

King dropped on 40published at 10.1 overs

    WI 83-3

King slog-sweeps the recalled Ecclestone, Amy Jones runs round... but over-runs it slightly, slips and can't get her hands to it.

I did not think this would be happening once Stafanie Taylor departed. We have a game on our hands.
