Warwickshire need at least one lengthy partnership if they're to get a positive result, and Liam Banks has picked up where he left off last night.
It's a first first-class 50 for the 20-year-old, and he's played positively - with seven fours included in his total.
The Bears are still 318 runs short of the victory mark.

Close to the perfect start for Yorkshire as nightwatchman Tim Groenewald throws his wicket away. You could argue Matthew Fisher has trapped him though.
The second over of the day started with two less than deliberate boundaries for Groenewald, edged to third man. After a couple of dots he actually middled one but hit it straight to Will Fraine at point.
Not really the job of a nightwatchman that is it?

After Nottinghamshire's heavy defeat by Surrey yesterday, they have more bad news...
All-rounder Steven Mullaney will miss the start of the T20 Blast as he is to undergo knee surgery.
The 32-year-old has passed on the Outlaws' captaincy to Dan Christian ahead of the tournament.
"The injury has been there for a while now and the operation needs to happen to make it right," Mullaney said.
