India are already out on the field. No pre-match anthems needed today.

And here come Ross Taylor and Tom Latham.

Hopefully they've practiced their range hitting - just 23 balls to blast away.

The game is very interestingly poised. Taylor has license. Conditions may be slightly better but the pitch will play its own role. I think this will be a close game.

Kiwi cyclist George Bennett, who is riding in the Tour de France at the moment, put this message out yesterday.

Can anyone on the road from Saint-Die-des-Vosges to Colmar help him out today?

    • Fans are not able to sell their tickets for the Reserve Day if they cannot attend, due to the short turnaround time.

I walked into the ground at the same time as VVS Laxman this morning - he was stopped for several selfies; I wasn't - and he nearly got flattened by the India team bus as it reversed out of the ground.

  12. State of playpublished at 10:05 British Summer Time 10 July 2019

New Zealand will resume their innings at 211-5 off 46.1 overs and have 3.5 overs to add as many runs as possible to that score.

There will then be a 10-minute turnaround.

And India will then have 50 overs to chase whatever New Zealand set.

If there are no interruptions because of rain and India's chase goes the distance, we're expecting the match to finish at around 14:30 BST.

  13. Welcomepublished at 10:02 British Summer Time 10 July 2019

    Let's try this again.

Welcome to live coverage of the World Cup semi-final between India and New Zealand, reserve day edition.

The Black Caps had reached 211-5 off 46.1 overs at 14:00 BST yesterday when rain forced the players off the pitch.

And it never stopped long enough for play to resume. Handily, they scheduled this reserve day in - and thankfully it's looking dry!

Play should get under way on time at 10:30.

"Cricket? Nah, not a fan, don't worry."
