    Willey 22, Brook 13

Richard Gleeson continues with the ball for Lancashire but David Willey continues to find the fence for Yorkshire.

Another lovely square cut races to the rope and then Harry Brook gets in on the action with four of his own on the legside to bring up the Yorkshire 50.

This is now quite evenly poised at the end of the Powerplay.

  2. Glamorgan slip to 9-4published at 21:03 British Summer Time 25 July 2019

    Target 142

    Chaos. Absolute chaos.

Jade Dernbach is in on the action now, having Owen Morgan caught behind by Ollie Pope to reduce Glamorgan to 9-4. Suddenly, 142 looks a fair way off.

  3. Postpublished at 21:01 British Summer Time 25 July 2019

That second early Yorkshire wicket to fall was danger man opener Tom Kohler-Cadmore.

Saqib Mahmood the man who forced him to chop on to his stumps....

  4. Yorks 45-2 (target 171)published at 5 overs

    Willey 17, Brook 8

James Faulkner into the action for the first time with the ball for Lancashire.

David Willey finds another timely four to keep this scoreboard ticking. Just manages to beat the chase of Alex Davies in front of the Western Terrace.

Yorkshire up with the rate despite losing those two early wickets.

  5. wicket

    Curran takes a hat-trick!published at 20:58 British Summer Time 25 July 2019

    Glamorgan 6-3 (1.5 overs)

    Yes Tom Curran! Game on!

The England paceman has taken a hat-trick with the second over of Glamorgan's chase, cleaning up David Lloyd's stumps and then having both Colin Ingram and Billy Root caught by Rikki Clarke in the slips.

    Superb bowling.

Here's how Adam Lyth was the first man to fall in this Yorkshire reply off the sixth ball.

Not a night to remember for the former England Test opener...

  7. Yorks 35-2 (target 171)published at 4 overs

    Willey 10, Brook 3

Saqib Mahmood continues from the Pavilion End for Lancashire. Hits a length hard and had plenty of success earlier this season in the 50-over One-Day Cup.

More boundary action for Yorkshire as Harry Brook finds the backward point fence with some width on offer.

    Eight runs off it.

  8. Yorks 27-2 (target 171)published at 3 overs

    Willey 8, Brook 1

David Willey and Harry Brook together for Yorkshire and with the tough task of rebuilding.

Willey drives nicely for four through the covers to gee up the home crowd a bit. Gives them a bit more to cheer about a couple balls later with four more off the back foot.

  9. Glamorgan chase beginspublished at 20:50 British Summer Time 25 July 2019

    Target 142

We're back under way at The Oval, where the visitors require 142 for victory.

Fakhar Zaman and David Lloyd will open, while Jade Dernbach takes the new ball.

  10. Yorks 16-2published at 2 overs

    Target 171

More pace for Lancashire after this great start for their bowlers as Richard Gleeson has a trundle....

  11. wicket

    WICKET Kohler-Cadmore b Mahmood 14published at 1.3 overs

    Yorks 16-2 (target 171)

My word - this is an eventful start to this Yorkshire innings!

Tom Kohler-Cadmore is the second man to be dismissed as Saqib Mahmood comes back from having his first ball whipped to the fine leg boundary for four.

Couple of balls later, he forces the right-hander to chop the ball back on to his own stumps and Yorkshire in all sorts of strife early on!

  12. Postpublished at 20:43 British Summer Time 25 July 2019

Saqib Mahmood opens the bowling from the other end for Lancashire with a touch of right-arm pace...

  13. wicket

WICKET Lyth b Croft 0published at 1 over

    Yorks 12-1 (target 171)

Wow - what a first over!

It ends with a big wicket for Lancashire and a big blow for Yorkshire as Adam Lyth is bowled for a duck as he tries to slog sweep Steven Croft.

  14. 6 runs

    Yorks 10-0published at 0.4 overs

    Good evening Tom Kohler-Cadmore!

Starts his innings with a dot ball, four through extra cover, another dot and then six off Steven Croft over long-off.

    Yorkshire off and running.

  15. Surrey 141 all outpublished at 20:40 British Summer Time 25 July 2019

    What an amazing final over!

Michael Hogan took the ball but, in making his first delivery, pulls up injured and has to go off the field.

    Step forward Marchant de Lange...

After his first ball goes for a leg bye, he goes wicket - wicket - dot - wicket.

Surrey are 141 all out. On this pitch, that looks short. Well short. But we'll see!

  16. Yorkshire open replypublished at 20:39 British Summer Time 25 July 2019

    Here we go then....

Steven Croft opens the bowling for Lancashire and it's Tom Kohler-Cadmore and Adam Lyth opening for Yorkshire.

    171 the victory target....

  17. Lancashire make 170-6published at 20:38 British Summer Time 25 July 2019

And the last man to fall in Lancashire's innings was Josh Bohannon.

Here's how Mathew Pillans bagged his wicket....

  18. Lancashire make 170-6published at 20:34 British Summer Time 25 July 2019

But Dane Vilas was finally run out by some superb fielding by Yorkshire's David Willey.

A direct hit to the non-striker's end helped the hosts claw things back in the closing overs....

  19. Lancashire make 170-6published at 20:33 British Summer Time 25 July 2019

Dane Vilas was the star of that Lancashire innings with 43 off 24 balls.

It featured three sixes and three fours and this was arguably the pick of his maximums off Mathew Pillans...

  20. Surrey heading for below-par total?published at 20:30 British Summer Time 25 July 2019

    Surrey 139-7 (19 overs)

Right, six more balls to go. What can Surrey muster from this position?

They've not found a boundary for 18 deliveries now, with Liam Plunkett the latest man to fall for 18 in that previous delivery.

It's another really fine catch on the rope, too, this time from Marchant de Lange.
