Just a single comes off Ben Stokes second over. This is all very subdued at the moment.

It was a tough one for Buttler. He is a very good athlete but even he wasn't able to get down.

The byes are starting to look lucrative for New Zealand now.

  5. NZ 169-4published at 64 overs

Archer attempts a slower ball but gets it all wrong and it slides down leg and past a scrambling Jos Buttler, who had no chance in fairness, and away for four byes.

BJ Watling squeezes away through point for a couple to end the over.

Archer is up around 85 mph so far. You feel like he needs to crank it up a bit.

  6. NZ 163-4published at 63.2 overs

Jofra Archer has decided to go around the wicket to Henry Nicholls but he strays down leg allowing the left-hander to clip into mid-wicket for a single.

This partnership is up to 36 off 142 balls now. It has been very frustrating for England.

New Zealand have to almost forget the scoreboard and play what is in front of them. So far it has been good. Their defence has been tight.

  8. NZ 162-4published at 63 overs

A maiden first up for Ben Stokes.

He got a little bit of movement both in and out during that over but BJ Watling was aware and defended stoutly.

Stuart Broad's first spell this morning was five overs, four maidens, no wickets for one run.

  10. NZ 162-4published at 62.1 overs

Stokes gets one to take off first ball but it's too wide allowing BJ Watling to just shoulder his arms.

  13. Not outpublished at 22:45 Greenwich Mean Time 22 November 2019

Finally Paul Wilson has decided that's not out.

A waste of a review from England. That looked pretty clear at full speed.

He's asking for front on angles so the TV producer zooms in and it's a clear inside edge.

There's a clear inside edge on Hotspot but the third umpire is carrying on checking this...

I am not sure this has got a lot going for it. I thought it pitched outside leg stump.

  17. England reviewpublished at 22:43 Greenwich Mean Time 22 November 2019

England and Jofra Archer think they may have Henry Nicholls trapped infront.

I am not at all convinced. I think he's hit it and it's pitched outside leg.

Wardy: Is Watling the most underrated keeper batsman in test cricket? Every time I’ve seen NZ scorecards he seems to be very solid - hopefully that puts the mockers on him.

  19. NZ 161-4published at 61.3 overs

BJ Watling looks a very accomplished batsman. He weaves a well-directed bouncer from Jofra Archer really well before steering to the boundary through gully.

That's angered Archer who follows up with another straight bouncer but again it's played superbly by Watling.
