It's probably about a 160 par wicket but the pitch did slow up a little and we had success taking the pace off. So we're going to have to play well.

Worcestershire know their roles, they know what to do and, espcially because of their captain Moeen Ali, they don't panic.

Worcestershire will feel there was more in the tank - no-one went on to a 70 or 80 despite a few starts. But we're well set up here.
Well, they don't quite make it to 150 but Ross Whiteley's 36 from 28 balls has given them hope.
Matt Carter's spin saw him take 3-32 and it was spin and slower pace bowling that troubled Worcestershire.
That's an under par score from Worcestershire and their bowlers will need to be on top form to get a victory here, with Alex Hales on the way for the Outlaws.
Worcs 146-9 v Notts
Daryl Mitchell hits his first six but goes in the next ball after chipping to Dan Christian at extra cover.
Worcs 140-8 v Notts
Ross Whiteley might be gone, but his big hitting towards the end of this innings might prove to be the difference for Worcestershire if they can perform with the ball shortly.

Harry Gurney has been all around the world, playing in different leagues and conditions. He doesn't play red-ball cricket any more so this is what he's paid to do now.
Worcs 140-8 v Notts
Two wides from Harry Gurney but no matter, as Ross Whiteley goes big and finds Luke Wood in the deep.
He's played very well and given the Rapids a glimmer of hope at least.
A wide from Harry Gurney before Ross Whiteley charges down the pitch - only to completely miss the ball.
Harry Gurney bowling the final over...
Just five from the 19th over.
Not what the Rapids need but great bowling from Luke Wood who remains wicketless but has made an impact.
A good delivery from Luke Wood stops Ross Whiteley in his tracks and Daryl Mitchell then can't get his away.
Frustration for the Rapids with no boundary for 13 deliveries.
Luke Wood returns to the fold and Mitchell teases a delivery down leg to give Whiteley the strike.
Whiteley then runs hard to get a couple and keep the strike.
Can he find another couple of sixes here?

Whiteley 33 & Mitchell 4
Ross Whiteley has certainly given the Rapids innings some much-needed late impetus.
They were really struggling to hit the boundary before he arrived but he's brought the fireworks.
All of that as baby Trump chases a Mariachi band around the stands, while the Power Rangers watch on.

140-150 brings pressure in the chase. Worcestershire like to take pace off and would be confident trying to defend that sort of score.

Whiteley decided that Mullaney is the man to go. All shoulders, power and reach. Is that the over to swing things Worcestershire's way?
Whiteley 31 & Mitchell 1
Whiteley goes for another six and that's gone way back into the stand!
He follows-it up with a four that almost crept over the boundary while still in the air but not to worry, there's another six soon on the way! This is just what the Rapids need.
That's 17 from the over - can they get up to 150 from here?

Worcestershire have tried to hit the ball to square. Here at Edgbaston you have to go straight. Ross Whiteley needs to make the most of this now.
