We've not had much to shout about in the second half of this game, but clever bowling by Ollie Robinson there.

The crowd quite rightly very subdued.

  4. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 17.3 overs

    Wessels c Evans b Robinson 47 (179-2)

Caught on the boundary but the partnership of 177 in 17 overs has put Worcester on the brink.

  5. Wor 175-1published at 17 overs

Yorker length from Jordan and he looks to the skies in disbelief as Moeen somehow manages to caress it backward of point for four more.

Wiese has not had a good game, out first ball earlier too...

  7. Wor 165-1published at 16 overs

    Target 185

So just to recap there, it looked as though Moeen was out on 103, it went for six, he should have gone again next ball on 109, it was dropped again. He remains on 110, with a strike-rate of 200.

Oh that just sums up our night there.

I thought Reece had done enough there to cling on, but just couldn't keep inside the rope. He did everything that he could.

  9. dropped catch

Dropped catchpublished at 21:37 British Summer Time 6 September 2019

    Moeen 109

Unbelievably the ball goes to Topley again - a routine catch this time, plenty of time to get under it, but down it goes.

  10. 6 runs

Not outpublished at 21:36 British Summer Time 6 September 2019

Sadly for Sussex it's six more. Topley looked to have parried it on the mid-wicket rope and jumped back into play to catch the rebound. But replays showed his foot was on the rope when his hand was in contact with the ball.

This is quite brilliant from Topley, he may well have caught Moeen here. They are going to check it.

    An unbelievable knock.

It's great to see that the whole ground is on its feet to applaud that as it's been a quite tremendous innings to see.

  15. 100 runs

100 for Moeenpublished at 21:32 British Summer Time 6 September 2019

    Wor 155-1

A quite brilliant century from Moeen, sealed with another six, the ninth of his innings, to go with seven fours. It has taken 50 balls exactly, the second fifty taking just 20 deliveries. Different gravy.

  16. 6 runs

    Wor 149-1published at 14.2 overs

A nonchalant flick off the pads, six more from Moeen over mid-wicket. I'm convinced this is not the same man that was struggling so badly for England.

  17. Wor 142-1published at 14 overs

    Target 185

Rawlins took 2-19 the other days against Gloucestershire and his slow left-arm is around 63mph, a bit like former Sussex stalwart Michael Yardy. Wessels playing a key supporting role here, using the pace to stroke another boundary through the covers.

  18. Wor 134-1published at 13 overs

    Moeen 89, Wessels 31

So 51 from 42 balls and Moeen is still there, having been dropped on five and 78. Slow left-armer Delray Rawlins will bowl next.

Another tough chance, but when it comes - you have to take it.

I feel for Luke Wright and for Will Beer as they took a punt there with a plan, but it didn't quite pay off.

  20. dropped catch

    Dropped catchpublished at 12.2 overs

    Moeen on 78

Oh my word they should have got him too, the ball squirming through Wiese's hands on the mid-wicket rope and away for another six. Horror at Hove.
