  1. Wor 58-1published at 7 overs

    Target 185

David Wiese was out first ball with the bat and his second delivery with the ball is delightfully struck off the back foot by the elegant Moeen for his fourth four. Dropped on five, remember.

Interesting to see how Luke Wright manages the bowling options from this Sea End.

There's the short boundary to the legside and Worcestershire's slower bowlers really got hurt there by some big hits.

  3. Wor 50-1published at 6 overs

    Target 185

Chris Jordan is the first bowling change, not one but two large gold chains gleaming in the floodlights as he charges in from the Cromwell Road End. He strays down the leg side and it goes for four but it's given as leg byes. Sussex ahead though, they had made 55-0 at the same stage after that blistering start from Salt and Wright.

If Sussex can pick up another wicket here - they will feel the momentum comes back to them.

Such a crucial phase of the game here.

  5. Wor 41-1published at 5 overs

    Target 185

Three fours and two sixes for Moeen so far and the completion of the fifth over means we will have a result this evening. Hopefully DLS will not be required.

What a shot that is - Moeen seems to be on top of the bowlers and one step ahead at the moment.

He got away with a couple of half-chances early on, but the Sussex bowlers under the pump here.

  7. 6 runs

    Wor 39-1published at 4.3 overs

Down the ground this time - same result, six more to Moeen, who races to 29.

  8. 6 runs

    Wor 33-1published at 4.1 overs

    Target 185

This has gone into the top tier, short from Topley, Moeen seizes on to it and it sails high over mid-wicket, measured at 73 metres. A replacement ball is required, the old one must have clattered into something in the stands.

A good one-two for Moeen Ali - pulls the short ball well and then next ball gives himself room from something fuller to hammer him through the offside.

Sussex may need to go those slower bowling options soon as for Worcestershire, the likes of Pat Brown and Ed Barnard proved tough to get away.

  10. Wor 26-1published at 4 overs

    Target 185

Moeen looking in the groove again, dancing down the wicket to Robinson and carving one through the covers for his third boundary.

  11. Wor 21-1published at 3.3 overs

    Target 185

Wessels with the fortune, chipping Robinson just out of the reach of two pursuing Sussex fielders in the mid-wicket region. Meanwhile Moeen with all the time to rock back and pull a short one for four.

You just feel the squeeze is on Worcestershire here early on. Someone will have to take risk soon to keep them up with it.

Moeen Ali looks like he wants to get on top.

  13. Wor 16-1published at 3 overs

    Wessels 3, Moeen 9

What a beauty this was from Topley and he has conceded only six from his first two overs from the Sea End.

Now one spectator has obviously overdone the hospitality and run on to the field, which has caused a brief delay.

  15. Wor 10-1published at 2 overs

    Target 185

Moeen has made two fifties in his last three T20 innings. Still a bit of rain around but light drizzle at the moment.

That's really unlike Alex Carey with that drop - he's been in fine form for us throughout this competition.

  17. dropped catch

    Dropped catchpublished at 1.5 overs

    Moeen on 5

How crucial is this going to be? It was short from Ollie Robinson and fished at by Moeen, off the glove but Carey spills it above his head behind the stumps.

Worcestershire certainly have match-winning batsman and Riki Wessels is one of them.

He hits the ball in awkward areas, so he's a real danger.

Moeen has such a lovely flow of the bat too.

  19. Wor 6-1published at 1 over

    Target 185

And what a beauty first up to Moeen Ali, millimetres away from the off pole as the left-hander plays and misses at an away swinger. Two slips in place in a T20, but Moeen is away in fine style with a flick off the pads for four.

  20. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 0.3 overs

    Leach b Topley 1 (Wor 2-1)

Very much a handful, he's got one between bat and pad and rattling into the pink timbers.
