Just wondering about the tactics here, bowling the slow bowlers up the hill is so difficult to do. This is clinical batting from Phil Salt.

Sussex 108-1
Two more sixes in fact form the Sussex opener...
Daryl Mitchell gets the treatment to the legside fence and also sends down a couple of wides in between.
Salt on to 72 now off 39 balls!

Sheer power and timing from Salt and it means less pressure on the new batsman Laurie Evans.
Run rate 9.4
Pat Brown continues, but again gets driven to the boundary by Phil Salt who continues to keep ticking along.
Watchful start for Laurie Evans at the other end before Brown nips one back into the pads of Salt, but he survives the half-shout for leg before.
Halfway stage of the Sussex innings.

Wright has played his part, Sussex are still in a great position.
Wright c Barnard b Mitchell 28 (Sussex 84-1)
Wicket time for Worcestershire at last.
Luke Wright the first to fall as he can't match the hitting of Phil Salt and picks out that fielder a cow corner who is Ed Barnard.
Departs for 28 off just 22 balls. Laurie Evans the next man in for Sussex.

Fantasic innings from Salt in a big TV game, he is throwing it back to Worcester, so encouraging for a young player to get runs, everyone in the dressing room will be more relaxed.
Sussex 83-0
Half-century up for Phil Salt from just 31 balls and it comes up with his third six to almost the same blade of grass.
Stunning knock so far.
Sussex 75-0
Daryl Mitchell on to bowl for Worcestershire, but his first ball is dispatched by Phil Salt over the rope down to deep mid-wicket!

When you sneak in those dot balls it does really limit the damage.
Salt 38, Wright 28
Worcestershire turn to wily campaigner Ed Barnard and his medium pacers.
Luke Wright again finds the rope with a cut behind point to that corner of the ground where there's some hospitality tents.
An otherwise tidy over from Barnard despite that boundary. Sussex still going nicely at the top.
Phil Salt has already been put down once in this Sussex innings, but this was a tough chance for Charlie Morris over his shoulder...
Salt 36, Wright 23
Seven runs off Moeen's return over.
Ones and twos from Salt and Wright which becalms them a touch.
Moeen Ali decides to bring himself back on and stem the tide of runs....

It's so handy for Luke Wright when Phil Salt gets going, it means Wrighty doesn't have to go wild too early.
That last over has propelled that to pretty much a perfect powerplay - you couldn't ask for much more in a quarter-final, fantastic start for Sussex.
Sussex 55-0
Dillon Pennington continues but Phil Salt finds the boundary once more off the right-armer.
Beautiful timing and power as he whips it away to the square leg rope.
Luke Wright into the boundary action again with back-to-back fours to put Sussex in a terrific position at the end of the Powerplay.
An expensive couple of overs for Pennington.
Sussex have one Australian out and one in tonight. Jason Behrendorff, who did not take a wicket in his two matches in the Blast this year, has returned Down Under, but Alex Carey returns to the squad for what will be his final appearance in this year's competition.
Wicketkeeeper Carey has made two T20 fifties this year with a best of 78 on his debut against Somerset.
Carey's also the reason why Ben Brown is in the commentary box tonight and not behind the stumps for Sussex.

It looks a good pitch, I would be interested to know what the guys out there think is a good score because I can't see any demons in it.
If you've just joined us, here's how Phil Salt smashes the first six of the night....
Charlie Morris on for his second over and Luke Wright hammers him for a crashing four to the long-off boundary.
Good start this for Sussex. Worcestershire need a breakthrough.
