    Leaders Lancashire are off to a steady start against Middlesex - they're 22-0 with Keaton Jennings and Alex Davies at the crease.

    Glamorgan need to win to keep their promotion hopes alive - they're batting first against basement boys Leicestershire and are 12-0.

    Second-placed Northants against fourth-placed Durham has just got under way - Northants are batting first.

    There will be another inspection at Derbyshire at 11:25. Promotion hopefuls Sussex will be hoping they're not off the field for too much longer. Points are crucial!

    There's not too much riding on this game at Trent Bridge, with Notts having gone down last week and Warwickshire safe, but a few may be playing for a place next season.

    Steven Mullaney and Ben Compton are opening for Notts. Compton has stepped up from second team cricket.

    I can't tell you much about Ben, apart from the description on the Notts website which says he is part of the cricketing dynasty that includes former England batsmen Denis and Nick.
