In 2020 how are no-balls not operated with some kind of lasers? If the bowler is over the line then something lights up etc.

Umpires not calling no balls unless there's a wicket is so unfair on the bowlers, you could be overstepping all day and not even realise until you get a wicket!

    Ben Stokes is on.

And Rassie van der Dussen greets him by battering a cover drive away for four.

    And it's also a massive uncalled no-ball.

What is going on? Was everyone drunk when they marked out their run-ups?

One day, cricket will introduce the third umpire checking every ball for a no-ball and it being immediately relayed to the on-field umpire.

And everyone will be at a loss as to why it wasn't done sooner.

When are these umpires going to do their jobs? It's a great disappointment for Broad. It was a terrific delivery.

Van der Dussen duly punches firmly off the back foot next up to scamper three that brings up the 50 partnership.

It's hard to have sympathy, because you have one job as a bowler - get your foot behind the line.

A brilliant ball from Stuart Broad, leaping up off a length, flicking off the glove and carrying through to the keeper.

Matters for nothing if you overtstep by that far though.

Stuart Broad has dismissed Rassie van der Dussen with a jaffa...

    But no he hasn't.

    It's a massive no-ball.

    Shocker.

A dross half tracker from Sam Curran that Dean Elgar picks up so easily and swivels away for four.

Another loose, full delivery down leg from Stuart Broad that Dean Elgar clips away for a couple to move to 49.

The South Africa opener then gets up on his toes to deflect one to point for a quick single that takes him to a fine fifty.

His conversion rate is excellent - that's his 14th Test half-century, with 12 centuries.
