As TMS wind up their proceedings, we're going to do the same - we hope you'll join us again tomorrow where England take centre stage against South Africa. You're entitled to a bit of a lie-in, as the game starts at 11:00 GMT - we'll be with you from about 10:30 for the toss.

Until then, enjoy the highlights from West Indies-Thailand, and the best of this game will be available shortly.

  2. Captain's viewpublished at 14:00 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2020

New Zealand captain Sophie Devine: "We knew we had to stay patient, we know the threat they pose at the top with Chamari, but we knew as soon as we got one or two wickets we can tighten the screws, it just happened a bit later than we hoped. Hayley Jensen bowled magnificently, and Amelia Kerr is great for us."

On her own form: "We've had some fantastic leaders like Suzie Bates and Amy Satterthwaite, and I don't want to be any different. I just want to be more consistent. We move to Melbourne now for our next three games, so we're going to get to know Junction Oval very well."

  3. Captain's viewpublished at 13:57 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2020

Sri Lanka captain Chamari Atapattu: "Our top six batted well, but I got out in the 12th over and that built the pressure for our middle and lower-order batters. We try to play to our potential, and we'll try to maintain that in the next couple of games. Catches win matches, Sophie Devine is one of the best players in the world and unfortunately we gave her two chances so we couldn't stop her."

How do you turn it around from here? "I'll talk to my team, play positive, play freely and play our natural game. The surface here was really good for batters, we need to adapt and win the next game."

Sri Lanka should play much better cricket than they do. Consistency plays a huge part in winning games, and they should probably have won today. Yes, it is hard to field under lights, with the flies and the dark skies, but they are an international team. It's the same for everybody - you can't win matches if you don't take your catches.

  6. Player of the matchpublished at 13:50 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2020

As the players go to sign autographs, the biggest surprise is that Sophie Devine isn't the player of the match - it's Hayley Jensen for her 3-16 which pegged back Sri Lanka.

New Zealand seamer Hayley Jensen: "It was a bit nervy at the start, but good to get the first win out of the way. This pitch makes me feel like a bit of a faster bowler, which is nice, the way the ball skids on. We knew it was a good pitch and a fast outfield, we had to stay calm and stick to our plans."

New Zealand did all the right things - they were chasing eight an over at one point. I still think they can improve, but Amelia Kerr's bowling was fantastic and Sophie Devine batted really, really well.

You can't drop someone of that class, twice. She was the best batter we've seen all day, easily.

So, New Zealand get their first win. And Sri Lanka may have to reflect on their catching - and the depth of their batting.

And the Kiwi skipper carefully guides a four backward of point to finish on 71 not out from 54 balls.

NEW ZEALAND BEAT SRI LANKA BY SEVEN WICKETS.

  11. NZ 127-3published at 17.3 overs

Devine uppercuts a four over the keeper's head to level the scores.

Martin smears a single to mid-wicket. Can Devine finish it in one hit?

  13. NZ 122-3published at 17.1 overs

With eight needed from 18 balls, Sri Lanka have to be aggressive - bringing long-on up and posting a slip for the new batter. Martin steers Achini Kulasooriya for two to third man. Six needed from 17.

Here's that free-hit ball Maddy Green hit for six...

  15. NZ 120-3published at 17 overs

    Target 128

Katey Martin in at five, vastly experienced, can she help Devine see this over the line? A single means it's eight needed from 18 balls.

That was a really good partnership. That was probably the best I've ever seen Green bat, but she really needs to finish the game off.

  17. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 16.5 overs

    Green b Atapattu 29 (NZ 119-3)

Green is bowled heaving across the line, but New Zealand are two hits away from victory.

  18. dropped catch

Devine dropped on 60published at 16.3 overs

    NZ 118-2

Atapattu's going to have another bowl from the other end, and Devine unleashes a brutal pull over mid-wicket, there's a fielder on the boundary... but Nilakshi de Silva lets it bounce through her hands for six!

  19. 6 runs

    NZ 111-2published at 16 overs

    Target 128

More of the same from Devine and Green, chipping away at their target with singles before Devine dismissively lofts Prabodhani's last ball for six over mid-wicket, rather denting her bowling figures so she finishes with 0-16 from four overs.

New Zealand have no problems here - they need 17 from 24 balls.

  20. dropped catch

    CLOSE!published at 15.2 overs

    NZ 101-2

Sri Lanka turn back to the left-arm seam of the veteran Prabodhani, who bowled so well in the powerplay - but Devine doesn't bother calling for her helmet. A Devine single btings up the hundred for New Zealand, then Green skies one into the air... and it falls safely between mid-off and extra cover. 27 from 28 needed.
