If South Africa get a few quick wickets here, it really will be their game. Losing Bismah Maroof was a big blow for Pakistan.
Slow left-armer Nonkululeko Mlaba will bowl the first over.

South Africa have had their ups and downs - they played that tri-series against England and New Zealand a year ago, and broke the record twice on the same day in Taunton for the most number of runs conceded in a women's T20 international.

We've seen Pakistan get up to 148 before, but this is a slower wicket - I think this is beyond them. They're going to have to be calculating about this - although South Africa proved me wrong, I thought they were going far too slow.
Shabnim Ismail is probably the fastest bowler in the tournament and was fired up against Thailand last time out.
Can Pakistan repel or even get after her?

If Pakistan nudge and nurdle and win, their net run-rate's still probably not going to be enough to take them through.
Pakistan could do with winning this at a canter in order to boost their net run rate enough to stay in realistic semi-final contention.
A very, very, very tough ask.

Or will New Zealand beat their trans-Tasman rivals in the winner-takes-all final Group A game tomorrow?
Speaking of Australia, some news from their camp...
The equation is simple - a win for South Africa will book their place in the quarter-finals. Pakistan are all but eliminated if they lose.
It's back to Jack Skelton to describe the run chase.

You never know, South Africa still have to bowl well. But they have a good, steady bowling line-up and I think Pakistan will find it very hard to face.

What an innings! I've never seen Laura Wolvaardt bat like that before. She used to open and they pushed her down the order because they said she wasn't aggressive enough. Well, she was today.
That is 20 too many for Pakistan to chase down.
Just to run you through the first five wickets...

Laura Wolvaardt's first knock of the tournament, with her side struggling at 54-3? An unbeaten half-century, with some of the most sublime drives you could hope to see, and eight fours. Lovely to see.

What a way to finish - a 50 and getting your team to a score that is going to be very, very hard for Pakistan to chase down.
