Pakistan captain Javeria Khan: "We would have batted first.
"We are disappointed to lose Bismah but it's an opportunity for the girls to step up.
"It's nothing new to me because I've captained before though I don't enjoy it much but leading your side is an honour and I never thought I would come this far."

South Africa captain Dane van Niekerk: "With what we've experienced with this wicket, we feel it gets slower later in the day, so we want first use. We've played here with Sydney Sixers [in the WBBL] and we know it's not the easiest wicket. Marizanne Kapp is back and Nadine de Klerk makes way. Pakistan have come on leaps and bounds, we're excited to play them today."

If the Pakistan team that came out against West Indies play, they could put on a good show. If it's the Pakistan team that came out against England... it'll be South Africa's game.

Pakistan were comfortably beaten by England last time out, undone by a strong England bowling performance.
There was a further blow for Pakistan as captain Bismah Maroof fractured her thumb playing the ramp shot that led to her dismissal and has been ruled out of the rest of the tournament.
Javeria Khan has taken over as skipper, while Nahida Khan has been added to the squad.
South Africa opener Lizelle Lee struck a fine century to lead her side to a dominant win over Thailand last time out.
Though Proteas skipper Dane van Niekerk was concerned by how sloppy her side were in the field, with some particularly easy chances being dropped.
They'll be hoping for a marked improvement today.
Will it be the Lizelle Lee show again?
