And now Dom Bess gets off the mark with a late cut through backward point for four.

    Mad morning.

I have no idea where Dom Bess was looking there. You can run off a no-ball you know, Dom?

Dom Bess actually wasn't looking. He looked back and was starting to go back to the crease and Jofra Archer got half-way down the track and shouted 'oi!'

  5. Eng 274-7published at 91.5 overs

Dearie me. A no ball from Shannon Gabriel is inside edged by Jofra Archer down to fine leg.

It's the easiest single in the world but Dom Bess is in his own world before finally realising what is going on and jogging through.

    Archer off the mark.

Does Jofra always bat in a watch, or has the clatter of wickets meant he's forgotten to take it off?

It is a great catch - it was travelling. Shannon Gabriel is absolutely steaming in and he is running through the England lower order. The West Indies have bowled beautifully, they've obviously had a bit of a talking too and they've come out strong this morning.

That is a great catch. That is brilliant from the West Indies and Shannon Gabriel is on fire this morning.

    Buttler c Holder b Gabriel (Eng 272-7) 67

Did every England batsman have an incredibly bad night's sleep last night?

And West Indies must've had their best - they look a different side this morning.

Another testing delivery from Shannon Gabriel, nipping in, forcing Jos Buttler to play and finding the edge.

Jason Holder takes a sharp catch low to his left at second slip. Top grab that. West Indies on fire.

Offt, did you hear that crack? It was pulled beautifully and Jos Buttler had all the time in the world. It flew away.

Jos Buttler timed that to perfection. It was a stand and deliver type shot.

  13. Eng 271-6published at 91.3 overs

Dom Bess is very handy with the bat of course, but Jos Buttler now unfortunately finds himself in all-too-familiar territory of trying to score runs while also shepherding the tail.

Mind you, he's often pretty darn good at that.

A short ball from Shannon Gabriel is dismissively whacked through mid-wicket for four by Buttler.

That is Kemar Roach's 200th Test wicket. He is the first West Indies bowler to reach the landmark since Curtly Ambrose.

It's a good length delivery but there's nothing really to it. Playing with the angled bat the off stump is out of the ground and it's been a good start for the West Indies. Chris Woakes is full of frustration.

  16. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 91 overs

    Woakes b Roach 1 (Eng 267-6)

A not very convincing start from Chris Woakes comes to a quick end.

Having had a big yahoo at one earlier in the over, Woakes angles his bat and prods at a delivery that he then nicks onto his own stumps.

That takes Kemar Roach to 200 Test wickets, a superb achievement.

And West Indies are getting right back into this.

The thing with Buttler is he's got all the ability in the world, but mentally he is in two minds of how to play Test cricket. When he gets it right mentally and technically, he could be our AB de Villiers.

It's my turn to deliver the food tonight. I'm a bit concerned it might be like that episode of Fawlty Towers and gourmet night. I can reveal we'll be having duck, though.

  19. Eng 267-5published at 90 overs

    Buttler 63, Woakes 1

Shot! Jos Buttler gets one on his pads and whips it through mid-wicket with just enough force to roll to the fence across a damper outfield than yesterday.

This is all very exciting. He really middled that, it was a very good shot.
