  1. Aus 164-5published at 33 overs

Another Moeen Ali over goes by. Just the two from it. It's been a pretty uneventful spell from Moeen but he's been economical, going for 44 runs from his 8 overs.

One of those stages in the game where you feel an England wicket and Australia could crumble, but if these two are still there for another 10 or so overs and it could be a completely different story.

Kyle Green: I played a few weeks back at at Ashton CC when the batter sent a massive edge through to the keeper, but a train went past at the same time and the umpire didn't hear the nick.

It's a team game, yes, but Glenn Maxwell was probably hoping Australia lost a few cheap ones so he could get out there.

Both Glenn Maxwell and Mitchell Marsh will relish the opportunity to build an innings.

  5. Aus 161-5published at 32 overs

Mark Wood returns to the attack as England go searching for that sixth wicket.

A single apiece to Marsh and Maxwell but a tidy, decent over by Wood.

This Australian pair have done well since the dismissal of Alex Carey.

Justin Knight: Guildford CC has a railway line running right next to it.

James B: I played a couple of games as a kid at Bawtry cricket ground near Doncaster which has a train line along the edge.

  7. Aus 160-5published at 31 overs

Spin from both ends as Moeen Ali replaces Jofra and he's greeted with a sweetly-timed drive by Glen Maxwell. He took a big stride down the wicket and sent that racing through the covers.

Maxwell has moved on to 24 from 18 balls.

That's a tough chance for Tom Banton, but you do see those types of catches taken now.

    Aus 152-5published at 30 overs

There are some big hits in that clip ... and right on cue ... here is the first six of this Australia innings as Maxwell pulls a short Rashid delivery down to the mid-wicket boundary.

He didn't quite get hold of it, substitute fielder Tom Banton was diving backwards in the deep and managed to get a hand and parry it over the boundary rope. It would be harsh to put that down as a drop.

  11. Aus 143-5published at 29 overs

Shot! Pitched up by Jofra and Marsh takes a huge swing and clobbers it down to the mid-off boundary for four.

Archer replies by banging it in short, the Aussie batsman happy to let that sail above his head. He was tempted.

A better over for the tourists, seven from it.

Hugo Flaxman: Rashid is absolutely world class in limited overs cricket - possibly our best spinner ever in that format. If Zampa wants to develop a decent whte ball career, Rashid is showing him the level required. Zampa has a long way to go.

    Marsh 27, Maxwell 8

Who benches more, Marsh or Stoinis? Both are big lads.

Rashid races through another over as Marsh misses out on a wide and full delivery, driving straight to Jason Roy at cover. A bit of a lull at the moment in this Australia innings.

I call Mitchell Marsh 'The bison'. He's very strongly built.

  15. Aus 133-5published at 27 overs

The gold chain wearing pace machine that is Jofra Archer bowls a beauty to Mitchell Marsh, a gorgeous line angling in and then moving away off the turf.

Archer has been superb this morning. After some struggles during the Test summer, he seems to have found his mojo today.

If anybody knows how to play spin, it's Glenn Maxwell - he's played so much short-form cricket all around the world. You just never know what side of the Big Show you'll see on any given day though.

  17. Aus 132-5published at 26 overs

That's surely been made up, Alfie? I want proof.

Rashid offers plenty of flight, Australia are in the single market as Maxwell and Marsh find the gaps and pick up three from the over.

Alfie: There was a story about a player (may have been Hick) hitting the ball out of New Road and into the back of a lorry, which then travelled to Birmingham.

Cheers, Stephan. Today has been a real lesson for me in Thomas the Tank Engine.

So then, halfway through this Aussie innings and England keep plugging away with wickets at regular intervals.

    Rashid to continue.

  20. Aus 129-5published at 25 overs

Jofra is going through his box of tricks. Slower balls, knuckle ball. You don't often say it about Jofra, but he's not the headline here. The main man has just removed his cap for another over. Kal Sajad will talk you through Adil Rashid's next session of Aussie torment...
