That's a poor review. There was something about Sibley's body shape that you made you feel that it was plumb.
Sibley lbw Abbas 8 (Eng 12-2)
Great ball, dreadful review, out.
It's just really good, a bit of that Mohammad Abbas nip back, and Dom Sibley gets into a right tangle. It's cracking into middle stump, and England are in a bit of strife.

I think Sibley has convinced the captain to review, but this looks out.
It's hit Sibley high on the front pad but it just looks right...
Oh, this looks out!
This time it's Dom Sibley, pinned lbw, and after a long, long chat, he reviews...

James Gulleford: Burns’ technique is all wrong - stuck on the crease, bat came across from outside the off stump towards the leg side, pinned plumb in front, feet stuck. Not a Test-match technique.

Joe Root relocates the middle of his bat and sees off two pitched up deliveries from Shaheen Afridi.

There's an inside edge on that one. It's all happening. The England captain has to find his balance.
Another huge shout for lbw to the very next ball, Joe Root completely worked over, but it's an inside edge that has saved the England skipper this time.
This is just blooming brilliant bowling. Shape, pace, swing, pinpoint accuracy.
And it does, the ball bouncing over the top of the stumps!
My word, it's all going off. Joe Root survives.
Height might save Joe Root here, he's on tiptoes...
Out! Joe Root is trapped lbw!
The England captain reviews.
Oh, left arm fast bowlers are the absolute best thing about cricket and I will not hear otherwise.
A beautiful, shaping delivery splits Joe Root in half, nipping over the top of the stumps at the last second.

If you look at how Pakistan play the game, this is the demand from their coaches. They want a team that is athletic, bubbly and can make a difference in the outfield. That running between the wicket earlier, tap and run, is something I've not seen for a long time.
Dom Sibley, who has an optimistic about of suncream across his nose, gets himself off the mark with a tickle behind square.
Sibley gets squared up, Mohamman Abbas zoning in on those pads, but there's enough bat behind ball to beat the tumbling fielders and run away for four.
Mohammad Abbas will share new ball duties.

I reckon the Pakistan cheers for that Burns wicket are the most noise I've heard in the behind-closed-doors summer. Vindication in the middle, jubilation in the dressing room, celebration on the hotel balconies.
Shaheen's wrist flick as he comes through the crease is obscene. So good.
A profitable first over for Pakistan.
