This is absolutely perfect for Pakistan. They have the England captain out there in the middle now in just the first over. They know if they can get two or three quick ones then 326 will look a big score for England.
Burns lbw Shaheen 4 (Eng 4-1)
Gone! Great review!
When I say that's hitting the stumps, I mean it is absolutely cannoning into them. Rory Burns just played around it, pushing forward and missing, and his back leg was going nowhere. Three red lights, and Burns has to go. What a start!
He hasn't!
Hmm...

This is very close.
I think Burns might have hit this.
Now then. Rory Burns is struck on the pad, Pakistan like it but the umpire says no...
And they're sending it upstairs!
There's the first one to threaten the outside edge, Rory Burns perhaps just a little late onto this second ball, but the third is a sweet gift on the pad that Burns pings away for four.

I have been so impressed with Pakistan. When I watched them ahead of the first day, I was impressed by the togetherness, the athleticism of their drills. It looks like they're here to play some real cricket.
In Shan Masood that was as good a Test century you can see in these conditions.
Down the leg side, and left well alone by Rory Burns.
It'll be Shaheen fridi to get Pakistan going, with Rory Burns facing.
Three slips and a gully await...

Naseem Shah took a Test hat-trick at the age of 16. He is now at the ripe old age of 17. I'm looking forward to seeing him.
Pakistan are having a huddle, with coaches Misbah-ul-Haq, Waqar Younis and Younis Khan also joining in.
Meanwhile, Dom Sibley and Rory Burns make their way down the Old Trafford staircase.

I've come to the conclusion that Younis Khan isn't taking notes on this game, but is instead handwriting a novel.
Honestly, if you haven't seen Naseem Shah bowl before, you are in for a treat.

These Pakistan bowlers won't be that familiar for the England openers. And remember, with no Zak Crawley, England are kind of a batsman short from their usual set-up.
It's a score very much built on the back of a super 156 from Shan Masood, mixing patience and aggression as the two days have worn on.
Three wickets for Jofra Archer and Stuart Broad, while Chris Woakes claimed two and James Anderson and Dom Bess one apiece.

Pakistan have got there thanks to Shan Masood. Remember, their star batsman Babar Azam fell at the start of the day.
Naseem c Buttler b Broad 0 (Pak 326)
All over and done with. Pakistan are bowled out for 326, off the back of a superb century from Shan Masood, and some fine support from Babar Azam and Shadab Khan.
