Zak Crawley is on Nelson. Feet up, everyone.

    (Weird sport, this, isn't it?)

Beautifully timed but not a great ball. All Crawley had to do was get a bit of bat on it.

  4. Eng 198-4published at 60 overs

Another four to Zak Crawley's total, this time taking advantage as Naseem Shah sends a juicy full toss onto his pads.

And another fine back foot drive ends the over, with a stuttering Yasir Shah eventually stopping it from reaching the boundary.

James: In the last year England have found three splendid young talents all to make centuries:

    • Dom Sibley (24 years old)
    • Ollie Pope (22 years old)
    • Zak Crawley (22 years old)

    Shot!

Zak Crawley celebrates reaching three figures with a glorious back foot punch that goes racing down the ground and into the boundary.

This is a very mature innings. Crawley used that brief period at the end of the second Test to score 53. It got his feet going, it was better than a net, and he got a good look at Pakistan's bowlers.

  9. Eng 188-4published at 58 overs

    Crawley 101, Buttler 24

It must be amazing to finally get to three figures in a Test match. There was a huge smile on Zak Crawley's face as he signalled to the England dressing room, who had all come out on the balcony to applaud.

He also got a delightfully classy mid-pitch handshake from Jos Buttler, which I am absolutely here for.

His footwork has been excellent, he's played beautifully straight.

Crawley has looked composed. He's left well, hasn't wafted at any and his thinking is very clear.

A maiden Test century for Zak Crawley!

What a brilliant moment for Crawley. He has played wonderfully well today, keeping the strike ticking over, taking his chances here and there, and he's been particularly good against Yasir Shah. Lovely, lovely stuff.

Mark Puttick: If (when) he makes 100 I think Zak Crawley will be the first man to score a Test ton whose (full) first name begins with Z.

Z Abbas made 22 tons but full name Syed Zaheer Abbas Kirmani. Z Harris made one ton but full name Parke Gerald Zinzan Harris.
