Cheers, Kal.
Strap yourself in, folks. This is going to be a mammoth three and a quarter hour session.
Yes, barring anything short of a miracle, England will win this series.
But still plenty of reasons for you to follow this match.
Can Pakistan show some grit and salvage a draw? Will the weather help them out? And ...will Jimmy Anderson take his 600th wicket in this Test? Or will he be left on 599 at the end of the summer?
The players are making their way back out. Seeing you through to the end of the day will be Amy Lofthouse.

Tony: A great display of stubbornness from Pakistan this afternoon. This also suggests why Root's decision not to declare with 20 overs to go last night is baffling. If England are to become world number one, his captaincy must improve!
Jofra Archer was told before this Test his role in the team is to bowl fast. Captain Joe Root was fairly unequivocal about it - and the message seems to have got through.
Below is Archer's pitch map from the first Test, when he didn't manage a single delivery in excess of 90mph. Here, 22% of his deliveries have been at top speed (see second graphic below).

Peter Harrison: This is where Ben Stokes would come in and make something happen.

It's important for Pakistan - they've shown some resilience. Pakistan have made England work hard.

Mark Burt: Watching Bess bowl this summer must be soul destroying for Leach. He’s basically done nothing to justify his place in the team but England still seem to rate him higher than poor Jack.

That session belongs to Azhar Ali. A captain under pressure, and he has responded very well.
Pak 158-5 (Azhar 82, Rizwan 23)
Bess has one flicking the back thigh pad of Azhar, Buttler fumbles behind the stumps.
And that's tea. At 75-5, Pakistan looked like they could be in all sorts of trouble. But the captain has dug in well at times but also scored freely when the opportunity has presented itself. They will go into the interval feeling a tad more confident that they can get a draw out of this match.
But one thing we can say with confidence, England will win the series.

I need to speak to Joe Root about the reasons why, but the gully fielder doesn't seem to be deployed any more. You can get a few wickets with sliced drives there.
Azhar 82, Rizwan 21
Rizwan picks up a single off Woakes before Azhar plays with soft hands to guide the ball down to the wide third man boundary for four.
I think the tea break will come at a nice time for England, just to regroup and hatch a plan to break up this partnership.
We'll get one more over in.

The wrists are coming into play the longer these two are together at the crease. They have time on this pitch to get into position and angle it to where they want to play it.
Image source, ReutersDon't forget, Jon, this is a wicket on which England scored 583 runs. So it's not the simplest of tasks for the bowlers.
Pakistan again opt for the sweep shot against Bess as Azhar moves to 78 from 166 balls with a boundary.

Extremely average and rather disappointing session from England's pace bowlers so far. Lacking that killer attitude and discipline needed for the England team to climb the Test rankings.

Azhar 71, Rizwan 19
Chris Woakes has had the odd ball beat the Pakistan batsmen but generally hasn't caused too much trouble with this relatively old ball.
Just an Azhar Ali single to mid-wicket from the over.

This is the sort of passage where England need a crowd. Flat pitch, good partnership, ball not doing a lot. If the ground was full, the crowd oiled, they would be urging the home team to make something happen.
Dom Bess replaces Jofra Archer as England look to fit in as many overs as they can before tea.
Two from the over. I've just remembered that this is the last Test of the summer. Boo.
Although, there was a point when I thought we may not get any Test cricket this summer. So, woo.

Is it Groundhog Day? A very good number three and wicketkeeper make a stand! Why does that remind me of something?

It wasn't a bad shout, but Michael Gough has had such a brilliant game I'd always go with his judgement anyway.
