The Durham bowlers struck twice in the first five overs of the day to see off openers Alex Davies and Keaton Jennings.

Davies fell to the third ball of the day and didn't add to his overnight score of eight. He edged Ben Raine to David Bedingham in the slips, while trying to leave the ball.

Jennings was then caught on 18 at third slip by Alex Lees off the bowling of Chris Rushworth - the ball sticking at the third attempt to leave them on 43-2.

However captain Dane Vilas (22) and Josh Bohannon (15) have steadied things for the visitors.
