    Hampshire v Essex - inspection 15:00 BST

Good to see Essex bowling coach and former South Africa paceman Andre Nel catching some rays in between the showers at Arundel! You've got to catch them while you can this summer, that's for sure.

    Durham 107-3 v Derbyshire

    Martin Emmerson

So often these days Alex Lees gives the impression he is playing in a different game to his Durham colleagues and today is one of those days.

His fourth 50 of the season came in a measured 128 balls and included seven fours. And his partnership with Gareth Harte for the fourth wicket is a valuable 75 runs as Durham have moved to 107-3, having been 32-3.

Lees now has 58 and Harte 31. Harte's best score is 114 and that came against Derbyshire in a Durham win here in 2018.

Lees scored 59 at Derby last year, plus 63 and 107* against them in Chester-le-Street last year. He also has 275* from a game for Yorkshire at Chesterfield in 2013.

    Robinson lbw b S Curran 17 (Surrey v Kent 99-4)

Wicket number two for Sam Curran!

It's a classic dismissal for a left-arm seamer... full, jagging back into the right-handed batsman, struck on the pad, out.

Ollie Robinson is on his way and Kent are wobbling.

    Durham 99-3 v Derbyshire

Durham's rebuilding job is being led by opener Alex Lees who reaches his half-century. It's been a patient innings, the fifty coming off 128 balls, but it was just what the hosts needed after slipping to 32-3.

    Worcs v Warwickshire 100-1

Worcestershire continue to be frustrated at New Road by this second wicket partnership that's now brought the hundred up for Warwickshire

Smooth progress between Will Rhodes and Sam Hain since lunch.

Rhodes has punched Josh Tongue off the back foot for four behind point and Ed Barnard through extra cover.

But the shot of the day has come from Hain, essaying Tongue through the covers. Lovely flowing stroke.

    Northamptonshire v Glamorgan 92-4

A productive half-hour for Northamptonshire since lunch.

Nick Selman could only add two to his lunchtime score before following a Jack White away-swinger and edging behind.

Then Billy Root was taken at first slip, giving Brett Hutton a wicket on his seasonal reappearance.

Enter Callum Taylor, Glamorgan's second fresh face. A 22-year-old Monmouthshire boy who played four T20s for the county last season, now handed a first-class debut. Good luck.

The Glosters have struck after lunch and it's their bowler of the season so far, Ryan Higgins, who has removed James Hildreth.

A full delivery, nips back a little, beats the inside edge, height not a problem, did Hildreth get outside the line? Probably not.

Didn't take long after lunch for Will Rhodes to go through to his first half-century of the season with a flick through midwicket off Ed Barnard.

Three 40s in his last four innings hinted he was in some kind of nick.

But here's a first milestone, in 94 balls with seven fours.

    A 20th innings of fifty-plus in his 54-match first-class career.
