Matt Cave: Yorkshire whingeing - Somerset had 1 game for Leach, 0 Bess, also missed Gregory and Banton majority of time.

Beat Northants in 2 days, Gloucs in 2 days and 15 minutes despite missing lots of play, and would’ve done the same v Warkwickshire if not for rain. Essex very similar.

Stuart Fraser: Never mind all this talk about the rules of the competition - what about Lancashire's over rate? I think we've had 88 overs so far today and it's not even 5pm yet!

The power of spin from both ends Stuart. Batsmen Sam Conners and Mattie McKiernan are inexperienced in first-class cricket and haven't deployed any time-wasting tactics yet. They might just be starting to consider it, play will end at 17:31 in Liverpool.

James B: The best teams have made the final undoubtedly.

But Yorkshire won three games and the other two games where washed out with two days play.

What else can they do? Add in Malan, Willey, Rashid, Bairstow and Root on international duty I'd say they have done pretty well.

Dawid Malan and Johnny Bairstow did also feature in some of those matches mind.
