Well deserved wicket for Essex, they've hit their straps this morning, both bowlers have beat the bat a number of times.
Davies c Wheater b S Cook 27 (Somerset 139-5)
Gone now!
Steven Davies pushes forward and tickles Sam Cook behind.
You have to say Essex deserved that. Cook has 3-44.
Byrom 56, Davies 27
A seventh Jamie Porter maiden including that massive lbw shout against Steven Davies that was turned down.
The Somerset wicketkeeper looked shaky in that over with a couple of plays and misses. Still no luck for the Essex seamer.
Byrom 56, Davies 27
Jamie Porter smacks Steven Davies on the pad... HUGE appeal... not out. That was mightily close. Unless he hit it, it looked out.
Byrom 56, Davies 27
Boundary number 10 for Eddie Byrom as he clips Sam Cook beautifully through mid-wicket.
Five off the over and Somerset are putting themselves into a really decent position. Anything north of 250 in this first innings, having been 52-3, would be grand.
Byrom 52, Davies 26
A much tighter over from Jamie Porter with just a single down to third man from Steven Davies.
Essex have put a man down there finally after leaking a gazillion runs off streaky edges.

While it may look bright and sunny on the pictures on our video stream, don't be fooled that the temperature is anywhere near the level we've experienced in recent days.
In the shade, it's still very much a two-jumper morning in my book.
Might have to ask someone around here if they'll crank up the central heating for us as well.
Byrom 52, Davies 25
Maiden number two of the morning from Sam Cook.
The Essex seamer is a classy operator and the stats back it up - 101 first-class wickets at an average of 23.43. That's up there with the best of them.

The wicket looks a lot slower today with the sun out, it actually looks like a good batting wicket. I think we will see a lot more of Simon Harmer
Essex will be happy to see it as an opportunity to get a first innings score.
Byrom 52, Davies 25
Another boundary squirted through the slips and down to third man by Steven Davies!
The Somerset wicketkeeper follows it with a beautiful cover drive to the rope.
Eight off Jamie Porter's over. Another good one for Somerset.
Byrom 52, Davies 17
Essex seamer Sam Cook starts with a maiden under bright blue skies at Lord's. His seventh of the innings.
Eddie Byrom displaying some stout defence.
Byrom 52, Davies 17
Eddie Byrom gets his day started with a single, clipped off the hip, before Steven Davies edges Jamie Porter down to the third-man boundary. Streaky from the left-hander but four in the book.
Five runs off the first over of day two.

Somerset 119-4 v Essex
How much will this man have a say in the outcome of this final?
Somerset and England paceman Craig Overton has taken 28 wickets in the competition at an average of 10.71.
But Essex have a few matchwinners themselves... notably the tournament's leading wicket-taker Simon Harmer.
34 wickets for the spinner so far, and no doubt a few more to come...
Somerset 119-4 v Essex
When I say it was a test for the batsmen yesterday, you can see why...
Somerset 119-4 v Essex
Somerset had Eddie Byrom to thank for giving them a solid platform to build on today.
The 23-year-old left hander battled his way to 51 not out as Somerset recovered from 52-3.
Can he go on to make it a big one?
Morning, and welcome to a much brighter day two of the Bob Willis Trophy final.
Yesterday was a very much stop, start affair, but they did still manage to get 44 overs in.
And it was just about even-stevens with Somerset closing on 119-4. Essex would have probably wanted another couple of wickets in favourable bowling conditions.
