Don't think saying "my comments never get read out" is a good reason to publish it. Only decent content should be published.

Many thanks, Lofters.
England should get these, shouldn't they?

My only successful text was to explain that we called Nathan Lyon "Edgar" in our house as he looked just like Edgar Allen Poe. They even found a picture of Poe which proved our point. Then he got rid of all that straggly hair. We still call him Edgar, though.

Right, I'm done. Stephan Shemilt will take you through the rest of the proceedings.
I'll leave you with a text that made me laugh when we first got it, and still makes me laugh now...
A scrambled single - always run off the last ball of the over! - ends South Africa's innings.
England will need 147 to win and wrap up the series with a game to spare.
Four!
A pleasing thump over the top from Kagiso Rabada, and not even Chris Jordan can stop that one racing into the boundary ropes. Shot!
Well bowled! A wide yorker that Kagiso Rabada can't get under.
A terrific final over, this.
Flattery will get you EVERYWHERE.

The Wallet Guy: Offer insightful, funny & clever analysis that doesn't put the person running the live comms in the shade... make sure you stand out & absolutely don't sleaze up to the wonderfully talented Amy Lofthouse, she never falls for it.
Single...
A filthy full toss that, somehow, Rassie van der Dussen doesn't get underneath. Dot.

It doesn't look enough for but the pitch isn't quite as flat as usual. There is some slow turn. When Linde hit that six, the ball was thrown back by a chap with a dog stick because he can't touch it. He did it with commendable accuracy.
Hoicked into the air by Kagiso Rabada and it drops just short of Jofra Archer, who then spends a bit of time pointing out to Tom Curran why he wasn't going to be able to catch that. I love Jofra.
Kagiso Rabada has come out for the final over.
It'll be Tom Curran to bowl it...

The only time I ever got on the live text, I forgot to include my name so missed out on all the glory. I'll never make that mistake again.

Linde run out (Jordan) 27 (SA 139-6)
Good recovery from Ben Stokes - he missed the ball at mid-off, then tripped trying to get it, but as Linde turned for a third run, he was able to wham in the ball to Chris Jordan, who whipped the bails off with ease.
This'll be out...
Ben Stokes misfields the same delivery twice but he's managed to effect a run out here...
An eight-over gap between boundaries in a T20 game is... not great.
Still, George Linde is making up for it now, taking a low full toss from Chris Jordan and placing it through the field for four.

I’ve given up trying to get my messages read out on live text and focus on texting radio stations instead. Have had success with messages about Scooby Doo villains and the Chuckle Brothers.
