Adil Rashid finishes with figures of 0-50 from his 10 overs.
Sri Lanka played him well.

Sam Billings is quick but he can't get round to that. It was tossed up by Adil Rashid and Karunaratne thinks 'I'll have a bit of that'.
Four more!
Chamika Karunaratne drives down the ground this time.
A boundary!
Dasun Shanaka is late on the sweep, England were getting excited, but he picks up four.

Sri Lanka have shown they have fight once again in this match but they need to execute their skills and have some more cricket nous.
Mark Wood finishes with a maiden, and with figures of 0-35 from his 10 overs.
There was a debatable wide call to finish the over. Chamika Karunaratne wanted it, "get on with it" says Jonny Bairstow.

It's a surprising stat but then there hasn't been much in this game, or at Durham in the first ODI, for the spinners.
Decent over for Sri Lanka with six runs coming off it. They've handled Adil Rashid really well again.
There isn't much on offer for the England leggie, but he did grip one past Dasun Shanaka to end the over.

Sri Lanka have take to this as deep as possible. I think they would be happy with a run ball, but they need more and I'd say 250 is a bare minimum on this pitch. The issue is they are six down. Had they been 180 odd for three wickets it's a good platform. They have at least shown some fight from a tricky position. However, England will fancy their chances of knocking it off on this pitch.
Five singles from Mark Wood's penultimate over.
The last boundary was seven overs ago, the ball before Dhananjaya de Silva was out.
Hahaha! Mark Wood is brilliant.
He falls over. Again. But this time it actually helps him field a straight drive from Chamika Karunaratne.
"I'm already down there", bellows Wood, with a smile on his face.

England's opening bowlers have taken 13 of the 14 wickets to fall in this series so far.

The main thing for Sri Lanka is can they get through to 50 overs. They cannot afford to be bowled out in 42 or 43 overs. It might mean they have to play risk-free cricket before having a bit of dart towards the end.
Jonny Bairstow is off again. He appeals, on his own for a lbw. "Toe or no toe, Rash" he shouts.
Adil Rashid just walks off, and Joe Root explains to Bairstow what actually happened, which was actually a straight defensive drive.
There are 10 overs to go. Sri Lanka have to bat them out.
Here's how Dhananjaya de Silva was dismissed for 91.

Mark Wood is a bit frustrated. It's just been one of those days. He wants wickets but it's not quite happening for him.
Mark Wood falls over again. He's not happy about it, thumping the grass just off the pitch. He's bowled economically today, without any real threat.
It's quite quiet at The Oval today.

England are in complete control of this game but Sri Lanka have at least mounted a decent fightback.
