England are next in action on Thursday, in the first one-day international against Pakistan at Cardiff.

It is a three-match ODI series, and then three Twenty20s.

I would go to individuals - it is about looking inside. Each player at this stage has to find some extra from inside, and find some resilience.

Sri Lanka are realistically probably happy to get out of Bristol without defeat.

It has been a torturous tour for them. They've been an absolute mile off competing with England, particularly with the bat, and they have a lot of improving to do.

They start a series against India on 13 July. That's not going to be easy either.

A frustrating end to the series for England then. They would have wanted to win this series 3-0, and get the extra points towards World Cup qualification.

Unfortunately that downpour has been too much, and the game has been called off.

England win the three-match series 2-0. Both sides will share the points from today's game in the ICC World Cup Super League.

We do have some cricket up and down the country in the County Championship today.

Followed by a Euro 2020 quarter-final win for England, and that would probably be enough for Harry Williams to really enjoy his Saturday.

It didn't stop there, though!

He took all 10 wickets for Marlow Cricket Club, as their first XI beat Kew CC. He bowled just 10.1 overs, and conceded just 13 runs, bowling four maidens.

After a delay of almost 45 minutes for rain, England got the final two wickets to wrap up the innings.

They'll need 167 for a series clean sweep.

There was the odd moment for Sri Lanka to enjoy.

Tom Curran is not the most gifted, or the most terrifying, bowler. He's not the most talented in this set-up, or even in the family, but he makes the most of what he's got. He's a fierce competitor.

The middle overs belonged to Tom Curran, who got his rewards for economical bowling across the series.

As has been the case throughout this tour, Sri Lanka fluffed the powerplay.

They were 45-4 at the end of the 10-over block, and have lost 11 wickets in that period during the three one-dayers.
