Todd Mills: So bored of this Sri Lanka series. Win toss. Bowl out for nothing. Easy chase. Bored.

  2. SL 40-3published at 8 overs

England's left-armers of David Willey and Sam Curran have taken 14 wickets in two games and eight overs now. Sri Lanka have really struggled against them.

Oshada Fernando is the new batter and he's off the mark straight away with a nice drive for a couple.

Dhananjaya de Silva is also up and running with a lovely back foot punch through mid-off for four.

That's good all-round from England. Willey knows to pitch it up and angle across the batter and Bairstow made that catch look effortless. I feel for Sri Lanka, England are all over them.

  4. wicket

    Nissanka c Bairstow b Willey 6 (SL 33-3)

    There goes another!

Pathum Nissanka is wary of the inswinger, so when he sees one going straight across him, he can't help but play the drive. He gets a big thick edge, and Jonny Bairstow takes a good diving catch.

Nissanka finishes the series with scores of five, five and six. Not exactly productive.

A box of tea and pastries has just been delivered to the groundstaff. Good gig. It’s making me hungry.

  6. SL 31-2published at 7 overs

Chris Woakes is honing in on the stumps and pads. He isn't offering Sri Lanka a single bit of width at the moment.

There are dark clouds over Bristol, but there's some sun too.

    Too much bounce!

It's going over the top of the stumps by a couple of inches.

    Have England got another?

Chris Woakes really likes this lbw shout against Dhananjaya de Silva.

    A bit high maybe?

The big rain cloud above us looks as if it may have just blown over. It can go to Wales, they can have it for today.

Dhananjaya de Silva starts with five dot balls.

He's got another rebuilding job on his hands.

Dhananjaya batted so beautifully at The Oval and once again he has the job of rebuilding for Sri Lanka today.

Dhananjaya de Silva, who made a really good 91 for his side in the second ODI on Thursday, is the new batter.

Unusual for Michael Gough to get one wrong!

    Avishka lbw b Willey 14 (SL 29-2)

Red. Red. Red. Michael Gough has actually got one wrong!

I couldn't have been more wrong. Avishka Fernando is so far across it is crashing onto the top third of leg stump.

    We've been here before...

    David Willey likes this.

Has he got Avishka Fernando lbw?

My hunch is it was a bit high, and going down maybe.
