It's not just the Pakistan fans on their feet to appreciate Babar's 150...
A single to bring up another milestone for Pakistan's star man. Terrific innings.
We've got a game on here! After a lengthy discussion between Saqib Mahmood and Ben Stokes, the England seamer bangs it on short and Sohaib Maqsood pulls it four four.
England haven't got their lengths right today.

It doesn't matter who you support, Babar Azam has been a delight to watch. We've been waiting to see a good game and it looks like we've got one on our hands here.
Maqsood 4, Babar 149
Babar connects with another wide yorker for a single to bring up Pakistan's 300.
Credit where credit is due, Arjun. Pakistan kept the same team and, having been outplayed in the first two matches, have come back fighting today.
Saqib Mahmood comes into the attack. Two to Babar Azam and he moves to 148.
A wide yorker is signalled a wide - the idea was right but the execution not quite.

Arjun: Let’s not get carried away, here. Pakistan are performing excellently. On a flat pitch. In a dead rubber game. In a series they’ve already lost. Against England’s third-choice bowlers.

There are some dangerous players still to come for Pakistan.
Sohaib Maqsood is the new man in the crease. He can whack it a bit but is off the mark with an outside edge down to the third man boundary for four.
On second watch, I think he meant that.

The short ball finally works for England but Edgbaston rises for the efforts of Mohammad Rizwan.
Rizwan c Simpson b Carse 74 (Pak 292-3)
The faintest of edges. It's a bouncer from Brydon Carse, angled into the body of Mohammad Rizwan, and the Pakistan nicks it to John Simpson behind the stumps.
A thrilling innings comes to an end.

This is the real deal now. We are seeing one of the world's best in full flow.
Babar 145, Rizwan 74
Close your eyes and you'll still be able to tell how good this shot is.
It's in the slot from Brydon Carse, the ball makes a gorgeous, crisp sound off the bat as it flies over long-on.

I don't think this is a bad thing for Eoin Morgan and Chris Silverwood to get a chance to see how these guys cope under pressure.
And another! Babar Azam is on fire as he slaps Overton through mid-wicket for four.
England are on the ropes and Pakistan are delivering blow after blow.
Mohammad Rizwan will be eyeing up his century here too as he gloriously drives Overton for another boundary.

He really does place everything perfectly!

That shot was so perfectly mistimed that neither bowler, mid on or mid off could get close to it.
How did that fall safely?!!
Babar Azam mistimes a pull, the ball goes high but not far, both Parksinon and Stokes are running in but can't get there.
