Wood run out (Jadeja) 5 (Eng 371-9)
Both batsmen end up at the non-striker's end after a duff call from Joe Root as England looked for a second run. Mark Wood keeps coming and, because Root is back in his ground, Wood is the man to walk off.
Here's Ollie Robinson downfall. Mohammed Siraj had peppered his pads three times with balls back of a length, but pitched this one slightly fuller and got his reward.

Jasprit Bumrah has now bowled nine no-balls in this innings.
He has bowled 18 in the series.
Jasprit Burmah runs in with his trademark slow, slow, quick approach. It's as if he's been sat on a plane for six hours but wants to be the first person through passport control.
Bumrah drops one in short for Mark Wood, and the England man rocks back to pull but he is only able to cloth it to mid-wicket for a single.

If England think they can get that 50 to 70-run lead then they should continue and get as many runs as they can.
I'm kind of with you on this one, Deep. A long day in the field for India. The last thing their openers will want is a tricky spell from James Anderson. Although I can see the merit of holding out the new ball tomorrow morning, if there's a bit of cloud cover around.

I'm just thinking a little outside the box here. Do England take their small lead and declare and make India bat for five or six overs?

*Eyes emoji.
Joe Root gets England past India's total, finally. Mohammed Siraj with a loose one on to his pads and with a glorious roll of the wrists the England skipper finds the boundary through mid-wicket.

Joe Root has 334 runs in the series. Only one other England batter has got more than 70...

It has been a masterclass from Joe Root. He has batted brilliantly.

I was at Lord's when Root came in yesterday. Since then I've had a lovely meal with friends, a nice morning swim, a walk by the river, been food shopping and seen my fantasy football team fail. AND HE'S STILL BATTING!!!

England taking their sweet old time to get past India's total, here. Joe Root whips a full-ish delivery from Mohammed Shami of his legs through mid-wicket for a single.

Ryan Geleit: England have never lost a match when Joe Root has scored a century (16 wins and 5 draws).

That was more hope from Mohammed Siraj. It was outside the line and too high.
Another lbw shout against Joe Root from the ever-willing Mohammed Siraj, who leans and puts his hands on his knees after the appeal is turned down.
Virat Kohli fuming with the decision, rather than his bowler, it should be noted.

Virat Kohli is absolutely fuming.
Joe Root gets the benefit of the doubt on the review via umpire's call with the ball deemed to be going over the stumps. That was very very close.
Eng 360-8
Mohammed Siraj, chunky silver chain waggling round his neck as he runs in to bowl, is appealing again. A ball strikes Joe Root on the pad and this time...Virat Kohli reviews!
