There's been a lot of talk in the build-up about the fieriness of the last Test match.
In case you missed it, India captain Virat Kohli has had his say on how things unfolded last week ...
So a few changes for England. Haseeb Hameed is promoted to open after Dom Sibley was dropped, Dawid Malan is in at three for his first Test since 2018, and Craig Overton replaces the injured Mark Wood.
England: Rory Burns, Haseeb Hameed, Dawid Malan, Joe Root (capt), Jonny Bairstow, Jos Buttler (wk), Moeen Ali, Sam Curran, Craig Overton, Ollie Robinson, James Anderson.
India: Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli (capt), Ajinkya Rahane, Rishabh Pant (wk), Ravindra Jadeja, Ishant Sharma, Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj.
Umpires: Alex Wharf, Richard Kettleborough; TV umpire: Richard Illingworth.
England captain Joe Root: "I'm not disappointed to be bowling. There's some cloud cover and it's a little bit tacky."
On picking Craig Overton ahead of Saqib Mahmood: "It was made purely on conditions. Both of them have shown promise and performance this summer. Craig has been knocking on the door for a long time. It was a difficult decision but it's nice to have a good headache."
On the opener pair of Rory Burns and Haseeb Hameed: "I've got a huge amount of confidence in them. England is one of the hardest places to play that trade. I know how tough it can be. Those guys have got great temperaments and they've got the opportunity to get us off to a good start when we do bat."
India captain Virat Kohli: "It looks like a pitch which doen't have much grass on it. Runs on the board will be crucial to set up this Test match."
On the decision to leave out off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin again: "We thought about it, but the pressure of the extra seamer in English conditions is always very, very handy. Jadeja will come into this game more than the last Test match. The pitch is going to offer him much more than it did in the first two games."
India captain Virat Kohli calls correctly, and we're going to see India have a bat. But Joe Root says he isn't too disappointed to be bowling.
