My word, it has been a slog for India this morning. They were rocked back by the early wickets, and they haven't really been given very much to hit at all.

Rohit Sharma has scored at a strike-rate of 42 in his four Tests against England and New Zealand this summer. Previously in his career his strike-rate had been 58.
His 11 off 60 balls is his fewest in 35 innings in Test cricket, where he has faced at least 60 balls.
Ollie Robinson strikes Rohit on the pad, the slips go up but nothing from the bowler. High, probably.
It's been a monumental effort from Rohit - 14 from 74 balls when wickets have been falling around him.
Ollie Robinson replaces Curran and is greeted by a lovely cover drive from Rohit Sharma that brings him a couple.
Robinson didn't do much this morning with his four overs so he has a great chance now to just sneak England another wicket before lunch.

Craig Overton gets an edge from Rahane, but it drops short of Joe Root at slip who takes a nasty blow to the thumb.

The pitch looks a good one to bat on. England have bowled beautifully, but the pitch looks brown and dry.
If India don't lose another wicket in this session then you think it will get better to bat on.

The three batters will be disappointed with the way that go out, potentially chasing deliveries that they shouldn't have been.
Rahane clips Sam Curran off his hips for an easy boundary.
Batting looks a lot easier now. Whether that's just because Jimmy Anderson's not bowling, I'm not sure.
And his first over is a maiden. Nothing spectacular, and no alarming pace as of yet, but it keeps the pressure on.
Moeen Ali is replaced after two overs by Craig Overton.

I was happy for Moeen Ali to have a couple of exploratory overs but there has been nothing there to suggest he should stay on, so I would turn to Craig Overton now.
The batters seem happy to just nudge Moeen Ali around for singles. No real risks taken and not much happening for the spinner yet, unsurprisingly.
