Virat Kohli has scores of 0, 42, 20 and 7 in the series so far.
He survives his first two balls from Robinson and he'll be up for this today.
And that wicket, of course, brings a certain Virat Kohli to the crease. The Barmy Army are pretty, well ... loud.

That was just clipping leg stump.

It could have gone one way or the other.
Rohit lbw Robinson 59 (Ind 116-2)
Umpire's call! It's so, so close and Rohit Sharma is fuming. He slams his bat against his pad in fury.
England are elated, though. Joe Root lets out a roar of delight and that is a huge breakthrough.
Rohit out for 59 following umpire's 'tough decision'
There's no bat ...

It looked quite straight.
Is this it?! It's given out on field, Rohit Sharma lbw, but he's reviewed it.
Are we really bringing up the tattoo chat again? Anyway Tim, I thought you were from Crewe?

If India post a lead of 78 I will get Sharma tattooed on my forehead.

Just that boundary from the over. Craig Overton looked a bit tired in that over, which isn't what you want in the first one of the session.

It's so good to see Pujara in this kind of mindset where he's looking to score runs. It seems like every time he goes out to bat it's a very important innings.

Two short and wide balls to start, one crunched away for four by Pujara. That's not what Joe Root ordered and he makes it pretty clear by standing with his arms firmly folded at slip.
Right, the players are ready and England will be hoping India don't have another session like the last.
I wonder what they had in the break to get them motivated. A cake? A sandwich? A cup of tea?
Anyway, Craig Overton is going to start proceedings.

78 runs from that session without losing a wicket for India. Oh the irony...

India will also be pleased with Cheteshwar Pujara's sudden return to form after a tough start to the series.
If there's one player you want at the crease in this situation - when the goal is to just bat and bat and bat even more - it's Pujara.
And, naturally, Rohit Sharma went on to reach tea unbeaten on a half-century. It hasn't been easy, it hasn't been particularly exciting, but it's done the job and he has 59 from 152 balls.

Jack Anderson: Joe was shouting 'did he hit it?' and no-one answered! That’s the frustrating thing for me.
It was obviously a wicket-less session but it didn't have to be. Joe Root just needed a bit of help from his friends, and he didn't get it.
