This has been an absolute masterclass from Jasprit Bumrah. A bit like Chris Woakes, no other bowler has been able to get anything out of this pitch, especially with an old ball. But he's been unplayable after lunch. He's hitting 89mph and is giving absolutely nothing away.

The crowd is enjoying it, too. Every delivery is treated like a hattrick ball - none more than another perfect yorker that Joe Root just jams his bat on in time.

I think England fans could all do with a bit of Joe's optimism.

Why do I feel a Chris Woakes and Joe Root masterclass coming on? England can still win this!

Chris Woakes is off the mark with a cover drive for two.

He's had a decent Test. Can he be England's saviour yet again?

    Another! England in disarray.

The perfect wicket for Jadeja - Moeen Ali prodding forward, the ball spinning from the footholes and gifting a simple catch to the short leg fielder.

Is anyone actually surprised by what's happening? No, me either.

India on the attack now. Two slips, a gully and a short leg to Moeen Ali.

He's hit on the thigh first ball thanks to some more reverse swing from Bumrah, who is absolutely on fire.

England have now lost three wickets for five runs in 31 balls.

That is brilliant bowling from Bumrah. A perfect yorker. It is very difficult for a batter when you have just come to the crease.

What a spell this has been from Bumrah.

    The perfect yorker!

How quickly the game can change. India have turned the game on its head after lunch.

But wow, what a ball that is - full, straight and fast, the last thing you want when you're on nought.

You have to remind yourself as a captain that reviews were brought in for the howler. Go back to Headingley 2019. It is so important you keep them in your locker.

India think they have Joe Root lbw.

Virat Kohli sends it upstairs with a second to spare - the on field decision is not out.

That is Bumrah's 100th Test wicket. He is the fastest India seamer to reach 100 wickets. His average is 22.9, which is the best of any India bowler on reaching their 100th wicket.

That's Jasprit Bumrah's 100th Test wicket in his 24th Test- the quickest Indian seamer to reach the milestone.

Jonny Bairstow, another of England's attacking middle order batters, is in next. Virat Kohli is signalling to the India fans to increase their noise. It's already pretty loud...
