The chances of the draw and India win have increased a little bit. You never know. 125 runs or so in the last session then game on?

Anyway, let's get back to the cricket.

A reminder of what's needed for England ...

That's an absolute shocker. Reminds me of someone in my year at school who ate KitKats without breaking them in half - literally just bit into it whole.

    Used to blow my mind.

India would have been delighted with the run-out before lunch, but England are not out of this. The pitch is still playing well, their in-form captain is at the crease and the spin hasn't been excessive - only the left-handed Dawid Malan struggled because of the rough outside his off stump.

The run-out was good news. With a left-hander trying to secure his Test place, India were able to apply the brakes completely. Busy Root can't be slowed. England have a better chance of victory now.

    Amit, London

Inspired work by Hameed realising Malan was slowing the run rate down and binning him off. Will coast to victory now!

And then ... the big moment.

Ravindra Jadeja was tying Malan up in knots and he just survived an lbw review a few overs before.

But this run-out has really got people talking.

The good news for England is that Haseeb Hameed is still there and digging in.

He shouldn't be, though - what a shocker this drop was from Mohammed Siraj.

Let's have a quick catch-up on the events of the day so far.

Shardul Thakur, India's hero with the bat in both innings of this Test, got the breakthrough with Rory Burns departing straight after reaching 50.

    Thank you, Callum.

Well, what a session. Being totally honest I thought it would be looking a lot worse for England at this stage. Anyone else?

Lunch for the players means lunch for me. I'll be spending the rest of the day nervously watching like all of you.

England can win. They bat until number 10. It is whether they believe it and want it.

There are 63 overs left in the day now, and England need 237 more runs.

    That means a run-rate of 3.76.

It has crept up, but it is manageable.

    Target 368

    That will be lunch.

England have added 54 runs this morning, but they have lost two wickets.

The game is still intriguingly poised, and all four results are still possible.

Mohammed Siraj will bowl the final over of the morning session.

This spell has been his fastest of the series. He's trying to make up for this drop earlier...
