    Wow.

Those two overs alone have shown how difficult it is going to be for England to score quick runs and set India a big enough target where they will feel they can't lose this game.

Don't go anywhere. This is going to be some day.

    Lead by 242 runs

"Come on boys" shouts Virat Kohli. He is pumped. He knows his side have been well below par in this Test so far and he wants them to deliver.

The no-ball klaxon is back. Poor from the spinner.

England reach lunch with a 242-run lead.

    Oh my days.

Shahbaz Nadeem gets one to rear past the outside edge of Dom Sibley, who was looking to defend on the front foot. Some serious bounce on that.

There is so much chatter out there.

Can't just be me thinking 400 isn't enough, in 4 sessions India could easily chase that! They chased 350 odd in one day at the Gabba.

Virat Kohli was seriously pumped after that wicket.

He was looking in the direction of the changing room, screaming, with the double fist pump.

    Gone first ball!

Ravichandran Ashwin gets a little bit of extra bounce, a maybe a touch of turn, and Rory Burns is playing with hard hands outside off stump and nicks to Ajinkya Rahane at slip.

    It can't, can it?

Rory Burns and Dom Sibley are opening for England.

Ravichandran Ashwin is going to take the new ball.

The highest chase ever in India is 387, external - which, funnily enough, was against England in Chennai in 2008.

    After that it is 276.

England are in complete control of this Test. They just have to force home the advantage.

Ben Stokes was pretty relaxed after that catch, almost like he expected to take it.

Most people would have been jumping up, throwing the ball up in the air, going wild.

    Some talent.

Right, match situation. There are 68 overs left in the day, you lose two for the change of innings so 66.

England will want a full session I reckon, so at least 30 overs, at India so that leaves them 36 overs to bat.

If they want to set a target of 400 they need another 159 runs - meaning they need to score at 4.42 runs an over.

If they only want 20 overs at India tonight that means they need to score at 3.46 runs an over to reach a 400-run lead.

    England have a first-innings lead of 241.

They have NOT enforced the follow-on. They will bat for seven minutes before lunch.

    WHAT. A. CATCH!!!

Jasprit Bumrah gets a healthy edge and Ben Stokes takes an absolute stunner low down to his right. That is a serious catch because he was very, very close at slip.

    Superb.
