We're in the same city and at the same ground for the second Test but it's a new pitch.

Rumours are this pitch will turn square from ball one.

There are also going to be fans at this match. 15,000 of them. EXCITING.

  3. No Bumrah for Indiapublished at 03:38 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February 2021

India make three changes in total and the big news is there is NO Jasprit Bumrah. The superstar fast bowler has been left out/rested.

Mohammed Siraj, who did so well in his debut series against Australia, comes in. Left-arm wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav replaces Washington Sundar and Axar Patel makes his debut in place of Shahbaz Nadeem.

  4. England pick Stone over Woakespublished at 03:36 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February 2021

England have opted for the extra pace of Olly Stone rather than Chris Woakes. A big but exciting call.

Stone has only played the one Test - back in 2019 against Ireland.

  5. India win the toss and batpublished at 03:33 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February 2021
    Breaking

Not the best start for England.

Unlike last week, Joe Root has lost the toss. Virat Kohli elects to bat first.

India have made at least one change to their XI. Left-arm spinning all-rounder Axar Patel has just been awarded his first Test cap.

He has played for Durham so will obviously be a world beater.

Good morning! It's early, isn't it?

England produced one of their all-time great performances last week and now have a 1-0 series lead. After a few days' rest it's now back into the Chennai heat for the second Test.

We already know Jimmy Anderson, Dom Bess, Jofra Archer and Jos Buttler are out for England, while Stuart Broad, Moeen Ali and Ben Foakes are in.

It's a straight shootout for the final place between pacer Olly Stone or the more experienced Chris Woakes. We'll find out the final XI in a moment or two.
